Every freaking law that has been passed by Republican ruled legislatures and signed in to law by Republican Governors have been ruled unconstitutional:
1. Admitting privileges for surgeons who medically terminate unwanted pregnancies or those where the life of the woman is in danger. Medically unnecessary procedures (trans vaginal ultrasound). 2. Same Sex marriage bans. 3. Voter ID and Voter Registration Laws. 4. Drug testing of state employees, applicants for welfare. Abortion is the medically performed termination of a pregnancy and removal of fetus that is not yet born, no social security number, no name. Pregnancy is in itself is a biological process. To say anything otherwise for this is purely political and religious persecution. Here is how Finland treats Abortions: Abortion law FinlandGROUNDS/GESTATIONAL LIMITS (summary by UN) Up to 12 weeks:
•If continuation of the pregnancy or delivery would endanger the life or health of the woman on account of a disease, physical defect or weakness in the woman.
•If the delivery or taking care of the child would be a substantial burden. The burden can be of any kind.
•If a disease, mental disturbance or other comparable cause, affecting one or both parents, seriously limits their capacity to care for the child
•Risk to mental health of woman
•Rape or other sexual crime
•If the woman is aged under 17 or above 40
•If the woman already had four children
•Risk of malformation Up to 20 weeks:
• Risk to physical health of woman
• If the woman is younger than 17
•or any other reason accepted by the National Board of Medico-legal Affairs Up to 24 weeks:
•If a major foetal malformation has been detected by reliable methods No Limit:
•Risk to woman’s life Medical abortion availabl

You have made some outlandish posts on this and other boards, but this one may be the worst of them all. I know how important it is for you to attract attention and post endlessly but the impressions you are making are far from positive. Maybe you need to start a fuckboard in Finland or Canada, two of your favorite places . . . .Restrictions are stiffer in Finland than the U.S. regarding a plethora of categories, to name just a few: gestational limits, administration to minors, risks to the mother (life vs. health), mandated informed consent, etc. It’s very difficult to get an abortion in Finland after 12 weeks and almost impossible after 20 to 24 weeks. Here the legal description is based upon viability and as such has extended out as far as 28 weeks but in some locations that was not actually a limit to abortion on demand.
The people you deride in the U.S. that have been picking around the edges of U.S. law would love to have the Finnish policies in effect. Sure, that would not be far enough for many and there are right to life people in Finland as well, but the point is Finland is far more restrictive. Case in point, the abortion rate in the U.S. is 33% higher than Finland when comparing the ratio of abortions per live births (based on 2008 data). One other major difference. In Finland, their laws were arrived at by their legislature. Here it has been based nearly totally on the judiciary. Even Justice Ginsberg says Roe v Wade was a bad judgment. She’s pro-abortion rights but she thinks the 1973 reasoning was very flawed
