I found this cartoon that explains the bank bailouts while I was researching how Ghaddafi was about to move to the gold dinar in forms of payment for oil. And Sadam had moved to the euro. I was just following the money, trying to reason our last resort for wars to save the dollar from collapsing. Ran into this cartoon on youtube that explains how the banks, insurance and politicians are all in bed together. Anyone have any thoughts about what is going on at home or abroad? And do you support our wars? I think all the GOP candidates except Ron Paul, support a war with Iran. And I would even bet that Obamas camp support a war with Iran as well. Both sides serve the corportists, banksters and military industrial complex. Just puppets eating from their masters tables. They will never turn on their rich buddies in office or end up like Kennedy.
...is that our currency isn't backed by gold or silver (which is a good thing, by the way), it isn't really backed by the full faith and credit of the United States, but rather it's backed by oil.
If China wants to buy oil on the world market, they have to do it with US dollars. That means they have to keep a lot of US dollars on hand to buy oil. That creates demand for the US dollar, and gives the US dollar value.
If a number of nations move away from using the dollar to trade oil, then the dollar could be tossed onto the world market, and we'd have a lot of inflation (possibly hyperinflation).
This is why it's so very important to move to a new energy source that we can patent and control, and sell to the world. It would secure the value of the dollar for decades to come.
What about coal? We are the Saudi Arabia of both. Sure there's wind and solar, too, but no sentient person think we can get along without fossil fuels.
...or we're toast.
We need to reinvent the wheel. Not just with the automobile, but with our entire civilization.
Of course we need to do that, but it will take some time. In the meantime, we need to find cleaner ways of recovering and using existing fossil fuels. Without them, the entire economy would shut down. If that happens, no one will have a job except for government workers. But you (and they) won't have them for long because the government won't have any revenues from which to pay you.
Do you even fathom what would have happened banks were not bailed out? The real root of the disease, lack of regulation.
Until you separate investment banking from consumer banking, you will bailout banks again in about 10 to 15 years. Unfortunately, greed increase as time progresses and only thing on natural earth without an EOL.
how the bank bailouts helped the people. It didn't help my sister keep her banking job she had for the past 25 years. It didn't help anyone I know re-finance their homes so they could keep them. It helped only one person that I know personally. Yes, the rich will become richer is what I see right in front of me.
I am not a genius, nor pretend to be. I know we are a spoiled nation. Just cleaning out my house yesterday, I thought....damn, I need a bigger storage building outside to put shit in or a bigger house. Not a hoarder by any means, but aren't we all like a bunch of kids with money.
I don't care anymore and will not research another thing on this election process or give my time to those clowns. My research has led me to not believe the main stream media or anything those clowns and jokers promise the people. So, I will not be voting or researching anymore. Politics make me so unhappy and I don't even really like people that much anymore with all their agendas and greed.
Now I know why my mama doesn't watch the news with my brother fighting overseas all the time. Weed helps say "fuck it". So carry on guys. I have to detach.
