END OF MESSAGE

They want to send Mexicans back to Mexico, which is a good comparison to the Nazis who sent Jews to Dachau.

"They want to send Mexicans back to Mexico" - NO they want to send people here ILLEGALLY back to whatever country they came from.  There are many people (and I personally know several) that are waiting to come here LEGALLY, but cannot get clearance to do so because of all the people that are here ILLEGALLY.
Why is it so hard for so many people to understand the difference between ILLEGAL and LEGAL immigration????

If you are addressing my comment, I know it is only illegals.  I was being sarcastic.  My point is it is stupid to compare it to Nazis, since Nazis used ethnicity to kill people, not send them home and that any comparison between sending people home and sending them to death is silly.

NOW we really know why she can't be found.  And moves around so damn much.

BTW, the police officer who is slapping the cuffs on little Dora - check out his left arm!  Looks like he's copping [no pun intended] a feel off nuestra Latina amiga prequena.  What a perv.

I could understand if it was Jessica Rabbit, but Dora?

never know what she could be hiding up in there.

the backpack is too obvious.

This law violates the fundamental principle of US law.  "That someone is INNOCENT until proven GUILTY.  If the only reason for being stopped is they think someone is illegal, they the person being stopped is within his Constitutional rights under the Fifth Amendment to refuse.

The law doesn't change that.  Once a person is stopped, he is not just driven to the border.  The initial stop is for an offense that justifies a stop.

A police office is allowed to ask ANYONE stopped for identification.  If there is a reasonable suspicion from that point, the person can be detained.

After that, before he is deported, there is a proceeding to determine whether the violation occurred.  As is the case with any other state action, at that time, proof is established, prior to any penalty.

People are always detained prior to proof of guilt.  That is why they are in jail pending trial.

This law doesn't change anything about the presumption of innocence.

This is the same as every other action the Gov does. Detain, proof, act.

Innocent until proven guilty, YES!!

But now let me take you back to what you should have learned in third grade about how the system works.

Police arrest you on SUSPICION, not GUILT. Only a court can determine guilt or innocence.

If I am driving and have no license, the police CAN arrest me. In most cases, they write a ticket, but it is officer discretion. They may suspect I have no license at all or I am supplying false information.

The point is, YOU ARE ARRESTED AND THEN ASSUMED INNOCENT, BUT YOU ARE STILL ARRESTED!!

The exact same thing they are doing in Arizona.

WAY TO GO ARIZONA!!!

Also if the GOVERNMENT can not proof someone is guilty than they must be released.  The accused can't be required to prove they did not break the law.

people get arrested on suspicion of murder all the time!! In many cases no one saw anything, there is just suspicion!!

You second point is crap as well. I have to PROVE I have a drivers license. I have to PROVE I have Auto Insurance.

Whay should hispainics be above the law ???

Individual states have NO deportation rights. Arizona cannot take anyone to the southern border, and tell them to go back home. When an individual is stopped for a primary offense, and after questioning, (no driver's license, no foreign passport, no government issued ID card, no green card, etc.), his/her status is questionable, they are referred to the federal agency, (ICE), that controls immigration. It is then the federal agency's responsibility to take, or not take, deportation action. Since the Obama administration has said they will not recognize the Arizona law, I guess no deportation will take place.

Also, what 99.5% of people don't recognize is that the Arizona law is a carbon copy of the federal law, and we all know that is not being enforced.

Eisenhower rounded up and deported 13 million, (Operation Wetback). Why can't Obama do the same, or any previous president have done so for that matter.......Politics and votes?

As previously mentioned, law enforcement officials can legally stop you and ask for your ID. If you have none, you will be taken to the station/precinct and held until your ID is established. Been there, done that. That was walking two blocks back to my hotel from a convenience store at 3:00AM, in San Diego.

talk about no sense of history or anything else.

You know when someone can't when an argument on facts the minute they have to resort to dumbass, overused words like nazi and racist.

Thanks for proving my point...

You obviously have not read, or heard, about the immigration laws passed in Missouri, a year or so back. Or even Oklahoma for that matter. Check it out. You gonna call them a Nazi state too?
