The flash bangs he set up are in a kazillion movies called appropriately "flash bang movies",  and  there are magazines and  websites to get them and how to set them up.  There are plenty of websites for all kinds of gun training paid and unpaid. There are tons of websites and forums for the paraphanalia he wore.  There are websites that train you to set up explosives and plenty of whackjobs around  to help you do that as well.

And all  this hoopla here along the lines of don't take the guns from my cold dead hands from Moses Heston for the NRA is laughable.  (All you gun jockeys like Willywonk take the safety off your gun that is of course in your pocket, fanny pack, underpants at all times because the gun as a penis substitute feels great up against your penis particularly with the safety off when someone comes up to you possibly to ask directions).

All of you who are screaming that the assault weapons ban AWB will never be restored are right. It never will be.  But the point is that the AWB really stopped nothing that any gun lover wanted to buy except for cosmetic features, or something like a bayonett that people who not only like to use and shoot guns and play with them want, so they can have a particular historical or cosmetic feature of a gun.

People get hung up on the word automatic in semi-automatic.  As the wonkster and probably the rest of you know, a semi-automatic rifle fires a single shot anyway for every trigger pull.
Full autos continue to fire as long as the trigger is held down. The word "semi-automatic" really only confuses people and it could be left out.

As far as AWB, it limited little but cosmetics.  Actual automatic rifles as wonk knows, are heavily regulated and limited for civilian ownership by a different law that's on the books.  And they can  still be bought from the right person illegally just like drugs or anything else there's a market for. So the media will be doing Aurora week, and blogs and forum threads will be doing  Aurora Weekend and not a fucking thing will change except that more people will be mowed down by guns, particularly if there is more divide between halves and have nots, because poverty helps breed mental instability statistically.  Of course you can be affluent or not in poverty and be a whack job and this board is exhibit "A" from the right wingnut contingent.

A target plinking 22 and a deer rifle are semi-automatic LOL.  And Michelle whackjob Bachman will continue to get on top of pheasants and crush them with her Trusty AR-15 a gift to her from the fine people at NRA (Nasty R Awesome).  And the usual battle cry is "take guns away from irresponsible people and leave me the fuck alone, until say I become irresponsible and dress up and go mow down a whole bunch of people in a movie or mall or park.

I do have one question  though for you gun afficianados like Willy.  Was Moses Heston buried with a whole shitload of guns in his coffin?

Most descriptions by eye witnesses are closer to the taller height that Holmes is over 6 feet by a few inches and that he had the same body build as Holmes--what planet are you watching today?

James Holmes according to witnesses who were his friends and spent time with him the most and one who went drinking with him last Tuesday night or close said he was perfectly rational and not at all a raving lunatic.  I'm not aware that in the scant information (not fucking talking and requesting an attorney) that Holmes has done any raving whatsoever but I'm not going to waste my time watching any of it because I know that in a couple to few months or so, there will be another Aurora with the breathless media flocking to whatever location and jerking themselves off in the same way.  Politicians and the public aren't ready to make any decisions that might prevent an Aurora from happening when it comes to guns, and there are a myriad number of was straight up and elliptical that someone who wants to Aurorarize people in a public place can get the tools to do it, and there always will be.

One question worth asking  was the one Cokie Roberts asked on ABC this morning which was "How did someone order as many rounds of ammunition as he did on the web and no one was contacted?  There may not be any  law for reporting that kind of order pattern (I haven't looked but I doubt there is) but if I had a company that was asked to fill an order 6000 rounds for a hundred round rifle drum mag, a 12 gauge shotgun, and  40 caliber pistols, I'd sure as fuck notify law enforcement before I sold to the individual. As Major Harry Callahan,  Jack Bauer, Lone  Ranger, and Tony Soprano  would say "that's a lot of fuckin' ammunition for one guy to order in a very short time--and it portends a whole lotta fuckin' target practice shootin' at sumpin' sumpin"

Whe the networks, particularly CNN who fucks up everything that moves as far as breaking news, reported Columbine, they painted a profile during the first two hours that was 100% wrong of the two kids. They said they were part of a cult, that they were beat up by jocks and reacting, that they were loners all which proved to be completely wrong but stuck in the collective conscious of "Dumbfuckamerica omg what're Snooki and Jwoww the  drunk dwarfs doing this minute?"
