Some people don't like talking on the phone

Companions that say text only drive me batty - or I skip them.

Am I the only old guy that is mostly on a PC or Laptop when try and contact companions (not in a car unless on the way), that would have to use a smartphone with little tiny keyboard where about ever 3 words I have to backspace and redo since I don't hit the keys right even on a 6" Windows 1520 phone (which I love when in car but not to use keyboard).

I'm amazed at the talent of some gals to fast dance on those tiny keys and come out intelligent, but this old dog I guess isn't good at using these new tricks...when seeking tricks :)  Especially since I communicate using capital letters at the start of sentences, try and use proper commas and periods.

I would think e-mail would be just as easy to communicate with for companions for us that are on PC's or laps to set up appointments.   When in a car be much easier to call than try and text.  And I would never try to text or e-mail while driving but have hands free speaker set up so far easier to call

It is pretty good if you enunciate and if you practice using it. I never use the cell phone when driving. I pull over even if it is just a phone call. My hands are screwed up due to surgery.

Matter of fact I like it. Like C80 mentioned the voice recognition works well so you don't need the keyboard. Hit that microphone key at the bottom left of your keyboard and give it a try.

I can text huge sentences by having it translate my voice to text, my nubby fingers cant hang with the keyboard either

Hiddenhills seems always to have sage wisdom, the voice/dictation feature on my old phone works great, just go a little slower and speak clearly.

it seems that more and more providers prefer to use text for everything.  I don't mind it for initial contact as it beats VM which is usually full anyway.  At some point I would rather have an actual phone conversation, a lot can be misinterpreted when a text doesn't have punctuation and therefore take on a awkward meaning.  Also a phone conversation can speed up the process, especially when needing final directions etc.

I hate that! I want to talk to the other person, not text.

Those texts (or emails for that matter) NEVER go away. Ok for coordinating an appt; not OK for sending verification data that is too personal.

So my experience I do not like to text  my client to confirm anything.  You never know who is on the other end (Reading, Receiving, or Forwarding) Nobody is perfect and things can get forgotten about when it comes to sitting your phone down for a quick second or FORGETTING to delete things from your other half.

I always as for a voice confirmation before session so I know that the gentleman that sent me the PM or Email is the same as on the phone.  Since so many sites are public it is very easy for someone to text and say they are SO & SO on the board and want to meet.  If they can not pm me to prove that is them and speak with me to get my location then I am sorry I won't go any further.  My Life and Freedom which I am sure yours is as well is respected when contacting me. Both parties need to be careful.

Texting on both ends can have consequences

especially if you're in a room full of people and can't talk on the phone.
Texting works.  Of cause I do like to talk to the lady before I meet her.

This is true they are stored in the Utah data center and available for subpoena.  But one can just use a new phone for every session and when finished drop it at a bus stop bench.  Only send two texts one asking for a full topless pic for verification and then for the address and time of appointment.

Sorry, but some of us do NOT text. I'm from the old school, pick up the phone and talk. Personally, I had the texting part of my phone turned off. If you want to contact me it has to be voice.

I can't ever answer my phone without the person on the other end saying something so stupid that I end up hanging up on them anyway. Usually it's something like, "How much for sex?" Am I the only one? At least if we are communicating via text, I have the ability to do some basic screening by looking up the phone number that's texting me before I decide if I even want to return a text. I know I am not going to incriminate myself via text but on the phone, it seems harder to avoid without just abruptly having to end the call. This is why I prefer to text.
