Will be in Phoenix Thanksgiving weekend - out of San Diego - any provider recommendations, tips?

Read something recently on LE hitting the massage parlors in Scottsdale. Was in Phoenix recently and that kept me away from massage & providers. Stayed with the strip clubs - but that gets old real fast. What's the scoop on the Phoenix area. Just getting started in the hobby and don't want to run into any problems. That's why I am choosing to start outside of my home region - figure it is a bit safer.

I've been following reviews on a couple of those listed - on my list to call when I get into town.

LE will bother the massage business once in a while when there is an election coming.

They know that the most adult business happens behind closed doors, the less takes place on the streets and that the oldest job in the work will never go away.

There are a few of these establishments on county lines, where the local police cannot do anything.

And in Phoenix, as far as I know, no such crackdown.

Phoenix cracked down on the escort business, which then took refuge in Scottsdale, where there is a very rich clientele.

Massage parlors usually attract a whole different clientele than the Limousine people.

And LE hates doing vice work in general, like cracking down on adult theaters with glory holes, on gay guys meeting in public bathrooms, and even clubs where consenting adults have group sex.

It's the politicians who force them to do that, and LE will oblige because they too have kids to feed and payments to make.

Right now, crack down season is off, apparently.

You should know that they are under the regime (lol) of Sheriff Joe and his posse. Recently ole' sheriff joe decided that he would go and roust up them good ole girls on the county land, in peoria, youngtown, suncity and few other remote places that are considered "maricopa county land", or have small police forces.
So he  shut down about five or six shops for a multitude of violations, once again saving his fine county from the evils of sensual touch, beautiful women and cardinal sins.
No one is safe anywhere, no matter where the business is located they can do a raid.
What you need to do is find some where that is discreet, has licensed therapists, actually looks like a spa/salon/massage clinic. LE generally leaves these places alone since they aren't publicizing what little additional services for additional fees they will do. If it looks like a brothel, most likely it is, and if you can spot it, so can LE.
If you are in a shop when it is inspected, keep calm, answer their questions to the best of your ability, reveal nothing and act like you are telling them everything. Don't be intimidated since there is nothing that can happen to you.

Don't think for one moment that Phoenix hasn't or isn't experiencing a crackdown. And don't think that any location (county line) is safe. LE has no problem being a pain in the a$$ anywhere that it wants to be and the main places that it wants to be are the places that continuously flaunt prostitution. As the squirrel said, " If it looks like a brothel, most likely it is, and if you can spot it, so can LE." Stick with places that are operated in a professional and discreet manner and chances are that you'll never be in the middle of a raid. The place should be the kind of place that you could take your wife (LOL) and know that she would get a great massage while you got yours without any clue that anything else could be had ;o)

Don't be afraid, just be sensible about where you get a massage.

the crackdowns are sporadic and are pretty much over. Two things really triggered things: one was a AMP opening up close to Sheriff Joe Arpaio's home and the other was some articles/letters in the Arizona Republic. So Scottsdale police had a number of high-visibility operations going and also initiated a pricey new lmt fee schedule to try to move them off to another city.
