I posted a comment a few days ago about how I had several provider references that didn't 'remember' the gentlemen so I didn't see them...

An 'assistant' was one of the references (I thought it would be bigger of me to remove name). He got back to me, saying he had no record of one of the gentleman in question. So I declined to see him, telling him just that.

The hobbyist forwarded me an email that 'the Assistant' sent him the very NEXT day saying that the provider (removed name) was available for THIS weekend (he wanted to see me Friday). You know....the same guy he had no record of?

I haven't experienced the slow season yet (maybe because I AM new)...but, tell me, is it that slow that people would down right lie to you so you don't see a client?  That is just plain mean and I would NEVER do that to providers (or assistants!), no matter how slow I became.

Sorry, if this keeps happening, I won't keep venting here.  I am just surprised and a little hurt.  I will get over it!  Everyone have a great weekend!

I've been working with Mya to get cleared, and set up something with her. However some of these posts the last few weeks, do have me concerned. I definitely want to get started, but whew !

I've become quite concerned about all the drug allegations, and general squabbling among providers. Both providers, and hobbyists have many of the same concerns, whether it be LE, rip off's etc.

This business from both ends is tough enough without all the internal squabbling, and stunts you just mentioned. All of this in fighting is just bad for business. I think even the most experienced hobbyists have to be concerned over whats going on.

I read a T-man post this week where a provider was complaining about a hobbyist that had several dates with the provider, and felt it  entitled him to unprotected sex, and discounted rates. Wow, what an idiot. On the other side of the coin the provider appeared very cold, and beyond the session appeared to have a slam, bang, and thank you man attitude in a female sense. Isn't a GFE at least supposed to be little more personable, and friendly. I must confess I don't know the whole story, so perhaps the hobbyist was just a pain in the ass to her.

Hopefully, all the provders can get together, work out their problems, which will make this a more enjoyable, and financially more lucrative, and safe business.

Yes my dear it is that slow in az. It can get ugly. If more people like yourself post about it, it will get better. Clients and providers should post about people who will not give out referances, we need to be informed so we can make the proper choices. This is such petty B/S... Everyone needs to give referances weather they like or dislike each other. Welcome to Az in the summertime. Cheers Danny

I kind of wondered if that sort of stuff ever happened.
I know a couple of years ago a provider got a little miffed at me because I asked for a reference and she wanted to know why I would see that other person over her.
It is the slow season but those in the core need to stick together for the good of the communittee.

That seems strange because I talked to the assistant the other day when he called me directly (they usually call my phone ops for references). I called him back and gave the ok because I knew the client personally (not THAT personally, but you know what I mean).  Every time someone calls for a reference my phone ops gladly give it to the girl if he is in our database.  If he is not, we'll tell you so.  Sometimes guys will tell you they've seen someone thinking that you aren't going to check, especially with a large agency such as ours.  We always check our database, and if he's there, great.  We don't get mad at a client for seeing someone outside our company because in this business, "varitey is the spice of life".  Please know that if you ever need a reference from us, we are happy to help.  There is one place that we don't give references to and there are reasons for that.  Otherwise, you can call us about anything!!

Most providers and indeed most agencies will gladly exchange references especially since the Posse round up.  Everyone should err on the side of safety.  It was good to see Taylor's post which should dispell all the ugly rumors running rampant across the boards.  References are good for everyone.  Always remember, the reward of a thing well done is to have done it.  God I'm getting poetic in my middle age.

I think I see a book of inspirational encouragement for the poon community. DEEP THOUGHTS FROM THE BED OF JACKSON. The Doctor Phil of the poon dynasty.
          I crack myself up.
Jack buddy I luv ya man. You never sease to amaze me.

The reward of a thing well done is to have done it.  As I stated in my "speech" the other day, I started this business because of all the sleaze that is out there.  I wanted to be different and I gladly help all who need it and deserve it.  We are all in this together and need to stick together and support each other.  When that happens, we all win!
