Hey there everyone. I'm a new hobbyist just checking things out. Anyone have any pointers or tips? I could use some help and friends.

I'm from the area that's why imposed this here.

by visiting the "FAQ For Newbies" board. It really isn't a FAQ like most websites use, it is a discussion area for new hobbyists and providers to learn from those with more experience. Most questions new folks have are well answered there... just read back a few pages and get a sense of how things work.

Also, read the self-help manual. All of it, both the parts for providers and the parts for clients. You will learn much.  

I'd also suggest you contact a verification service like Date-Check or P411 (P411 seems to be the current favorite) and get verified if you have not done this already.  

See a few ladies, write a few reviews, post on the various boards... build credibility and the rest will follow.  

BTW, it is great to have ANYONE post on the Philly board as it tends to be pretty listless and dead at times.

Also, I know what you mean by wanting friends in the hobby. It can feel pretty lonely here sometimes. Check out the M&G board and try to get an invite to the party in April. You are going to need references, so there is no guarantee you will get one, but if you do there will be a bunch of hobbyists and providers there to talk to

Good luck and welcome to the board. It is a little sleepy at times but there are a few hobbyists who try to keep it informative and interesting  beyond the normal ISO requests, or lists of things to do or places to eat in town! :
