It really wasn't that big a deal.

For those haven't heard I made the mistake of getting close to a girl I met at a hotel last week.
She told me that she was in a bad situation and I really I thought I could help.
I've never been through anything like it myself, but I'd heard about it.
All of us in this life have.

I've already been told by everyone how "silly", and "reckless", and "stupid", and "dangerous" it was.
I'm sure you'll find it necessary to tell me again.
But don't I get some credit for trying to do the right thing?
I'm pretty sure that I'm not the only one who would have done it either.

You can call me naive but she seemed totally sincere.
I would never have thought that she'd run off with all my things.
No phone.
No computer.
No credit cards.
No Id.
She even took my room key-card.
I guess she needed it all more than I did.
Lol

Thank God for Fedex, Visa and encryption software.
I was able to replace everything.
My laptop won't do them any good.
And I never keep screening info after the screening is done.

I shouldn't have paid for the GPS feature though.
It didn't help.
I didn't report it what happened.
I'm not going to.
Not because of who I am.
But because I think she has enough problems already.
I still hope that in the end she's OK.

Anyway, everything is fine with me.
Life goes on.

I made arrangements to sneak away to Cleveland for a couple of days.
I've heard that I was missed last week.
I missed you too.
