There seems to be lot of discussions on LE here especially on the Newby board...Do the police department really have the time to set up stings at the hotels? If you read some of the threads it looks like they are lurking all around us...Also some threads about flipping some providers..Like CIA flipping a KGB agent to be a double agent...I realize the need to be always vigilant BUT does anybody know of such things in Cleveland area? Any hotels and suburbs to avoid! Which suburbs actually even have a vice squad? It is worth sharing here....Thanks....
I am not really familar with Cleveland, but can give you insight based on what I have read and gathered during my time in this hobby.
Unless your a guy who is going after streetwalkers and such, hobbyists really have little to fear as far as getting set up, in my opinion. Some may disagree but thats how I feel. Stings that go after gents usually are only done on the streets and usually after complaints from citizens have prompted police to take action. Gents who try to pick up "providers" on the street are running a risk and have to be careful. Never tried that so I can't tell you what to look out for.
Most gents on this site are not partaking in the streetwalker type and make contact with providers by phone or email after responding to an online ad. I am sure some have taken place at some point but when LE is active they are usually looking to lure providers, the girls, into a trap. There are very few instances I have read, maybe one account I think I recall, of the LE trying to get guys to come see them. The girls are the ones who have to worry about that alot more than us, again that is my opinion.
And the tried and true way of staying out of problems is to try to stick with providers with TER reviews.
If you choose to see girls that are not reviewed, you have things to worry about that trump a possibility of an LE encounter, which is doubtful. You are much more likely to encounter a bait and switch,some other kind of ripoff, or even a rob attenpt than an LE being the entity behind the ad.
Hopefully I provided some help. More than anything just use common sense and think with the right head if things seem sketchy.
I think you gents dont have to worry about a "sting" so much as being worried that the provider you have chosen to see isn't being watched.
If the lady is being watched and you happen to be there, you might find yourself being questioned after you leave her room.
Stay away from hotels with exterior doors and stick with reviewed providers.
The amount of discussion on these boards about stings and, especially, "flipped" providers gives a distorted picture of their true prevalence, which is extremely low. Just like watching the local news could lead you to think that murders and car accidents are bound to greet you the second you step outside. The exception is if you're in an area where LE has been on the warpath against escorts. I don't know about Cleveland.
As the veterans on the Newbie Board all tell you, just sticking with well reviewed providers cuts your chance of getting busted down to about 1 in a million. For an extra measure of peace of mind, you might also want to visit the Legal Corner board to study up on what you can do (STFU) to keep out of jail and out of the papers if you should have an unlucky encounter with LE.
Most stings revolve around underage ladies and/or young ladies being forced into it and they also revolve around drugs. If you are not into either I wouldn't worry too much

agree with all the above.stay with providers who have numerous review from hobbiest(who are white listed or a lot of reviews)and you have very little chance of this happening
