How do we look?  Say on average 1-10.

I'm curious, if most guys you see are gross, socially awkward... or are most of us normal, even attractive?

Obviously there are exceptions... just wondering where the lion share of us hobbyists fall

Most of the guys I see are usually above average in appearance. I'd say 5s, 6s and 7s are most common, with a sprinkling of 8s, and the less frequent 4s. I've seen less than a handful of 2s and 3s, a couple of 9s and one 10.  

I'd put the overall average at a 6.5 without taking personality into account (though, for me, if a guy is particularly cool or funny, he becomes more attractive...same with the inverse). If I am taking personality into account, I'd say that average goes up a point.

You really think they will answer that publicly? If so, it will be that we are all 8-10 Adonises. If they use an alias we are probably 1-5. Either way we are not going to learn what they really think. It's a no win for the ladies to give us an honest answer. Here's a thought-Just enjoy the time with her and believe every nice thing she says about you!

Not to be an asshole (well to late I am already one!)

This sums it up for you.  I am a pretty average looking guy (in my mind I am a 10 in reality I am about a 7.5).

I have had many Providers say some variation of "oh you are a cutie" "your cute" "hmmm".

So what that means is that a 7.5 guy in real life goes up to a 8.5 or a nine in the hobby.

Not to get to mathematical on your ass but that means on average the regular Hobbyist is about a 5.

This answer is more real than any you will get from a Provider.

Keep in mind, though, physical attractiveness is probably the most subjective topic in the world, and it's really hard to measure such an abstract/subjective thing on a numerical scale.  

You may be on to something, though. I'm sure we all are a little more generous with our "looks" scoring within this particular subculture. It's all a matter of perspective.  

Regards to who i've actually met most (80%) are average-ish, 10% hot as ball, 10% only a mother could love face (all good tho). Also most seem pretty normal even if they are a little socially awkward.

Actually, there are countless hotties who pay for it to avoid the drama of casual civvie sex or dating. The one 10 client (and yes, he was an absolute 10) I had was going through a rough divorce, and just didn't want the hassle that often comes with getting laid the traditional way.  

Also, Brad Pitt is not hot.

Not true.

Not true at all.  Most of my civvie/personal lovers are in their 40's, 50's, and 60's.  I'm really hot for silver-haired studs.  The difference between my clients and my personal lovers is simply that for my clients I am going out of my way to make myself available to provide them a service, and also that my clients find me through my advertising.  Personal lovers tend to share my passions, have overlap with my personal life (ie I don't go out of my way to see them but rather our lives are somehow integrated with each other's), and don't receive my full attention or my willingness to do anything I can to accommodate them, because they aren't paying me for a service.  I'm more intellectually attracted to my personal/civvie lovers than many of my clients who choose me versus me choosing them.  But age is definitely not a factor for me... and to some degree, looks aren't either, especially not under "conventional" attractiveness paradigms.

Just had two 20-something's at the same time not 3 weeks ago.  They gave me the sexiest duo bbbj I think I've ever had.  

Yeah...I expect it was a one-time thing.  But, chalk one up for the nice guys.  They had no reason to do it other than they liked me, were comfortable with me, and wanted to give me a nice time.  And boy was it ever.  It certainly wasn't bc of my looks or my money

And for the record...I was incredibly shocked.  I wasn't even "trying" with either of them.  Way outta my league.
