I enjoy the female condom, because it doesn't have the constriction that the regular one does. Some guys have issues with it being too tight around the area, and a female condom is different than that. The ring that goes inside the female is also a phenomenal feeling. I would suggest you try them out!

If they are inserted right, to where you make sure the ring is underneath your cervix so it doesn't come out, you are good. I had an issue the first time I used one, but it was because we didn't put any lube on him before he went inside. There is already tons of lube on the condom, so make sure you put some on him or else he is going to stick to it.

Overall they are both equally safe, it seems from studies if you know how to use a condom (male or female) then you are going to use one effectively and if not... well then you have increased odds of failure for both types.

As was mentioned use lube, you can't naturally lubricate the inside of a female condom so you may need to pause to relubricate it once in awhile. Still it's a one size fits all item and great if you have more than one lady in the room as you don't have to switch off the condom as well, a gent can move between ladies if he wants and not have to pause to remove the condom which remains with the female partner.

I'm a big fan of them and I know a number of gents I have met have responded favourably.
