I'm trying to determine where to set up shop, if you will.  I insist on staying in Cleveland proper, and am intimately familiar with the area.  

I'm just curious where you guys prefer to go.

it is central to most of Cleveland and because it is by the airport.  The coming/going will not attract attention.  I have never had a problem with Independence.  Many ladies hobby in that location.

Downtown is somewhat difficult due to traffic, parking and not as much activity.

I don't have a car, so that's the issue at hand.  Getting to Independence is going to be tough, but that seems to be what everyone else is saying.  

Hotels are a lot cheaper though, for sure!

No car? No problem, I have one. Ride for a ride sounds like a good idea to me.

you are close to the airport - don't need a car--- and you can walk to restaurants from virtually any hotel

I'm using the Megabus, and coming from Chicago to Cleveland.  I'm going to pick up a cab from downtown cleveland and take it to Independence.  It's not that long of a journey.

Independence must have grown up since I've been away... walkable restaurants were not a thing there when I was around!

I would stay out of Independence because that is where everyone goes. There was a bust at an upscale hotel even.

I would do Beachwood or Downtown. I did fantastic in those areas.

That actually makes me feel pretty good.  I did some research, and all of my research confirmed that Independence is hot with LE from time to time.  Considering the uproar that's happening in Chicago, Im extra cautious.  

I'm assuming if I posted up in a hotel with parking, that would make things a lot easier, even if i decided to stay downtown, yeah?

Seriously, the touring ladies that I have seen stayed in Independence.  I've been to the same hotel twice in fact, different ladies....

As a westsider, I might go to the eastside if the lady was someone I really wanted to see.

Since I don't work downtown, seeing someone there is a pain with parking issue or taking the train DT.

I hobby mostly when I travel....
