There are multiple stings going on.
I got blasted yesterday without any offer of service and may now have to spend time in jail.
There was no talk of services and yet still got busted.  
I would love to share the URL but it has changed / and / or been removed.
I'd love to say where the sting was but for all I know "they" could be watching.
I want to be with trusted ladies but they are too much $$$$$ for me and now I've paid the price.

So it sounds like the cops don't have a case against you.  But that doesn't mean they can't bust you, take you to jail, lock you up for 24 hours, just long enough that you have to call your wife, maybe your boss, etc.  In the end they will drop the charges and your legal problems will go away, but not the personal stuff.

We all know the risks with which we are involved. As UserND implies be wary, do your homework, trust only reputable sources, be safe.

I did not know about this. If I were a man though, I would never see a lady with did not have multiple reviews dating back at least 6-8 months prior.

Can you at lease give some details? Where was the ad? What did it say? What was the girls name? What did the pictures look like? Face shots? Was the sting in a hotel? How did you know what the price was? Typical 2 call or text?

Stay away from Backpages and you won't have this problem.  There is a reason why TER and P411 are the gold standard.

This is the reason I joined TER and p411. I am an occasional hobbyist and travel frequently. As a result of the travel and searching for providers from time to time on CL and BP (yeah, I know not a good idea! LOL!) I started noticing the same ads/photos in different areas of the country and internationally as well. As a result I started using a photo search plug in for my browser. It allows you to search for the same photo and see where else it has been posted on the web. Great tool! You would be amazed! I am sure I am not the first to post about this tool, but thought I would mention it for the benefit of those who haven't heard of it.

Just wanted to ad that the photo search tool might be something the ladies could use to see if their photos have been stolen and used by others. Perhaps you already do this?
