should I be concerned?

I have made a reservation well in advance and have been screened. since our initial conversation I have e-mailed the provider first with a clothing request and then again last week with a date adjustment. Neither e-mails have drawn a response of any kind. Should I be concerned have I failed a test, or asked to much or am I stocking? should I go ahead and make other arrangements?, or should I just show up with a smile on my face and not worry about the semantics.

I ALWAYS ask for a confirmation prior to our date, ALWAYS, and if they give me a "safe" number to call i always leave a message to please call or email to confirm our meeting, and on the morning of our date i send my address of our meeting!
I understand that we're all busy, but your within your rights to get a confirmation on your requests. If i was you, i would call her, or send her an email, stating if you DON"T hear from her, your going to look elsewhere!
Trust me, she'll get back to you if the meeting is on.
Good Luck
Jay

First you should learn how to spell "Stalking". I guess my question would be how far off is the appointment?  I wouldn't hit the panic button but I also would not just "Show Up" without confirmation from her the day of the appointment. I'm guessing that you probably don't have her in call location yet anyway...

Stalking? the appointment is over a month away. I live in the country, and don't get to the city but about once a year. so I know well in advance.
I am not looking for a pen pal but I would like to know if she got either e-mail. after two go with out response I am of the opinion that we're off ,but she did confirmed a date and time. So, I don'T know. I just want you guy's opinion.

Well, as I said, how far off is the appointment? She may be taking time off or she may be very busy. In either case these ladies sometimes go for extended periods without checking their "work" emails. If it's a week or so off I would send an email and just say that you are checking to make sure that everything is still on.  If it's further out than that I would not send anymore emails until the date gets closer.

By the way, "stalking" was a presumptive spelling correction, not an accusation.

As much as we try to keep up with our emails, sometimes they get away from us. ;)

Fred, these ladies have a life outside the hobby and they don't always check emails frequently. I had one provider who post's she is local but I later found out she is a traveling lady and is only in  my area every now and then. I had called and emailed her with my references and didn't hear anything from her for about 3 months. Partly because she had surgery, then a wreck and then wasn't in my area. My point is for a while I thought I had done something wrong. The fact was she was too busy to bother with me.When she came to my area she broke her neck trying to get in touch with me!

So like me, you probably have a provider who is busy, and since you are later down the road on her appointment book, then she probably will contact you closer to the time.

One more freebie advice is you still might want to be searching for another provider as a insurance back up. Ladies, lot of times, have to cancel last minute and you don't want matters left in your own hands...lol

Yes and no.  Since you have a confirmed date & time, even though you "made an adjustment", there shouldn't be any concern; especially considering the date is a month away.

I would most definately make contact through e-mail about a week beforehand to confirm the date.

However, since you are traveling to the city and do this infrequently, I would begin to make a "plan B".  No, don't make a date, just gather the names & contact info for a few other ladies should something not work out with your "confirmed date".
