Sounds like you are asking about a White List...

After how many dates should a hobbyist ask a provider for a referral?  I personally don't think a provider should give a referral after one or two dates but it's their final decision.  I see two regulars for a while now and they both want to give the referral but one doesn't have computer access all the time and the other says she doesn't know how to do referral.

Thanks :-)

and I disagree with you statement about when a provider should give a referral. I usually  ask after one date, as I don't repeat that much and it's not been a problem. Most of my white list references have come after one date. Many I didn't even ask for.

The referral is not only helping the clients, but also helping other providers.  Personally I think provider should provide reference with only one visit. The clients don't need to ask, as long as you seen her, she should be your reference.  Unfortunately, there are a lot of providers don't like to help. We are not asking for five star referral, we just need you to provide honest information to other providers.

If you do not repeat with many providers, after the first time would be OK.  If you had a good time, a nice review might give her the impetus to give you the referral.

I don't think you need to write a good review to trade for a reference.  Most of the part, the review is helping the clients, and the reference is helping other providers. The girl who refused to provide reference to other girls is not doing anything good for anybody.

My point was just that if the provider is reluctant to give a referral, a review can possibly improve her standing with other potential clients.

I agree with you. But a girl who is reluctant to provide a reference will lose her credit in attitude, and I will have mental hurdles to write a very good review for her, unless the review was written before the reference.

I usually only ask once.  One visit for one referral.  Just my way of doing things.  I am a wimp and I feel guilty asking for more than one referral.  I usually only come out to play a few times a year so about three months is my limit for asking also.

If I have seen someone recently and use them for a referral and they will not or do not I will just not go back to see her.

...(aka White List Referral). On the My TER page in the Quick Links list on the left of the page it's called My Referrals. (More newbie confusing TER terminology. I hope they fix that in the "New" TER.)

They both should be able to "White List" you by following the directions in the Self-Help Center for White Listing clients. I'll put a link at the bottom of this post to the Self-Help Center for those instructions.

A provider must be a member of TER and they must have at least one review because they are required to have the free limited Provider VIP membership  (Note it's free.) in order to White List a client.

For white list referral, I take back what I have said on my previous posts. I thought about regular reference.
