How do you spot a member of the Po Po (Law Enforcement)

I have been looking at this website and have seen places like Backpages.com and Craigslist and seen the ads, and I freeze up when I go to call. How are you hobbists able to tell if the person is with the police or not (this is assuming that this activity is illegal where you are at.)

Thanks

Hi this is not an answer to your question- its just to say please someone answer this!! I am starting my first job at an agency in the southern US this weekend. The agency wants to post my pics on craigslist. I dont know if it is safer to do incall or outcall. also how can i be sure that my client is not an officer and how can i avoid getting arrested?

Not sure what state but in TN we avoid CL like the plague...way too many traps......You also do need to do a BUNCH of reading not just this site but others also, there is a provider brd......go to it read......Srceen,,,srceen and screen some more......be safe and if you Tn shoot me an email

sirsaber i am in TN nashville area... only have basic mem is it ok to put my email up on here?
a couple more questions if it's ok...
-does LE set traps more often for clients or providers?
-if u only do outcall, and your client undresses before you, is it probable that he is not LE? what is likelihood?

1) Sure you can post your email addess if you would like to others to contact you with more detailed or local information.  I sure you've already thought of this, but if not, it is a good idea to set up a webmail account (like @yahoo.com or @hotmail.com) for you activities in the hobby.

2) Who does LE go after?  It varies.  If there have been alot of complaints from "average citizens" about a parade of men at a certain hotel or apartment, they will sometimes go after the provider to deal with the nuisance reports.

Other times, local LE decides to do something about the "prostitution problem", and sets a sting on the clients.  A couple of months ago, a suburban St Louis PD decided to do something, so they posted a CL ad, set up a female officer in a local motel, and arrested every man who responded to the ad.  They also brought in a local TV station to film the guys entering the room and being hauled out in cuffs.

3) Sorry but there is no formula to ensure that your outcall client isn't LE.  Some people think that if you ask a cop "are you a cop", he/she is bound by law to answer honestly - NOT TRUE!  I've seen other providers who seemed to think that if a guy is undressed, and touches his cock before she fully disrobes can't be a cop, also not true.  You might want to check out the Legal Corner board.  Some of the sories there will shock you, but you will also see some ideas on how to protect yourself legally.  What is boils down to is your (a woman illrepute) word, against his (an officer of law).  Guess which one usually wins.

The good news is that LE intervention in the hobby really isn't all that common, but it does vary by location.

Best of luck to you!

You don't want any part of an agency that advertises on Craig's List. Any agency that would put you at that kind of risk has little or no regard for your personal safety.
