Cup sizes are measured by the difference between the circumference of the band line and the circumference of the actual bust line. So for example, a 32DD and a 38E could very well mean the same thing in terms of substance (for lack of a better word). It's a confusing system. I've had tits for over a decade and it still confuses me.
