Hi, I have been browsing the site and all this information. The one thing I am having a hard time doing is getting started really.  I want to provide. Is there a how to for getting started?  Any positive help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Elsie!

I'm still rather new myself but one thing I found really helpful was getting to know another provider. She has helped me with a lot of questions I have had but didn't want to publicly post as well as helping me get in contact with a gent or two she knew would review.

If you haven't already done so put up a site and submit it to as many site review boards as possible. There are a few places where you can get a free one to start with. Just look at the different provider  sites, when you find a layout that you like, most times you can scroll to the bottom of the page and click where it says "get your own site here".

Also advertise, advertise, advertise!!!

It may feel like things are never going to happen but it gets better!

Hope this helps!

I'm not sure I can help but many great TER ladies might.  If you are serious, maybe a local lady would take you under her wing to teach you more.  I would post a request on your regional board (drop down menu on the left). I'm sure there is much that is NOT posted on a public forum...  & should not be.

I'd ask you
Are you prepared to get a separate phone to keep your business separate from your private life?
Have you thought about doing IN CALLS vs OUT CALLS?  pros & cons of each
I presume you know better than provide from where you live.  I know some do so but leave that for the more experienced ladies who are super good at screening.
You should look for a web site for your self.  I don't know what they cost but a simple template site is enough to get started.
You'll need to advertize.  How will you pay?  A prepaid gift card?  You can advertize on your local board:  1 ad every 7 days.

Are you really OK with Pay for Play?

Wishing you the Best,
skb

Besides the advertising (escort site - Google this & you get a free nice page) and the logistics (prepaid phone, to blur your face or not, screening techniques, etc)...Start out slow, don't see a ton of guys or you may burn out. Screen screen screen. Consider email as the first contact, leave your phone # off ads until you get really good at reading people.
I'm fairly new too. :)
Figure out your boundaries, and stick to them.
With no reviews, it will be hard at first,
but I'm sure some cool established hobbyists on TER will be glad to check you out, then it will snowball. :)

Get on Preferred411, stay off Craigslist.

Like I said I'm fairly new too, but I'd be glad to help any way I can if you think of anything specific.

Best of luck,
Tayler

suggestion:  any business takes a while to get going.  Try to retain an alturnate income source (like a day job) unless or until you decide providing will provide adequately.

Suggest:  do blur your face in photos...  internet is forever.  You never know what the future holds.  Many ladies reach a goal & retire from the biz.  You'll need to buy health insurance, save for an IRA, etc & no company program to guide you.

Suggest:  You will have to pay taxes.  Check out current posts on legal board.  Think of a cover business (entertainer, personal assistant, etc).

I hope this helps,
skb

Great advice. It is wise to keep and alternate income because business can be slow and/or up and down especially without the reviews. And even in places where you think your advertising pays off, sometimes there are slow times. So I would keep at least a part-time job at least for awhile.
