on let's say TER, Eros, BackPage?  Anyone have any preferences??  I'm just wondering how much time and money to put into this and where the best places are...

I posted my first BP ad last week and heard from a ton of men.. very few of which were willing to give a reference. :-/  also, what's with the last minute appt. emails??  Is this normal?

what is bp.....................did you get clients off it? I think you must advertise otherwise how will men find you...........and fot that matter I dont understand why we cant post a profile on here in order to get interest on this board as well.Is this site only for hobbyist and not providers ..what I mean is..we should be able to discuss what we offer.Reviews are so subjective. This might depend on where you are located.  In some areas Eros is king and others it is Cityvibe in terms of escort malls.  You are allowed one advertisment post here on TER each week on your local board.  Good luck.

You need to find out which place is the best in your area.  I don't know about MN.  In the northeast it's Eros but have heard that in other parts, Eros isn't utilized at all.

Also, stay away from Craig's and to a lesser extent BP.  Most guys who are surfing them are looking for last minute appts and bargains.  And the ladies who usually offer those don't bother with references.  If you want a good quality client, need to advertise on your area's higher quality sites.

Welcome Lauren...
Very key in your business to advertise to the type of client you wish to draw in. Not just where you put your ad but how you write it can also weed out who you are not interested in seeing. By stating in your ad all Gentlemen must be verified, the hobbyist "in the know" who is willing to give you references, will be more interested and the ones not will move on.
Marketing yourself is a bit expensive at first but it does pay off in the long run. It does depend where you are as to where you should advertise.
Hi Debbie~~BP is Backpage, an online ad site.

Oh Laren, I sent you a PM.

Take care Ladies and stay safe~~
Nicole.

Hello again Debbie, thanks stopping by again!!!

bp is backpage.com, a classified ad site that charges a small free for erotic services ads.  It is a small step up from CL.

As implied by name The Erotic Review, the main asset of TER is the reviews.  The profiles stored in TER are profiles of reviewed ladies.  They are initially created by the first reviewer, but can be updated based on feedback from the provider, or customers.

TER is not an escort mall or advertising venue.  However, that doesn't mean TER can't be a valuable means of attracting business.  You can post one "ad" post every 7 days on your local board, in your case San Diego, http://www.theeroticreview.com/discussion_boards/messageList.asp?boardID=7.    Your post can include details about your schedule, rates, services, email, phone number, etc.

You can also post a link to your website - the perfect place to put forth your message.  Just remember that your site has to display the TER badge or banner on one of its first two pages.

Best wishes,

jazz32

Advertizing is important...  I used to use Escorts(.)com quite a bit.  The basic listing is free.  You don't need to pay for VIP just find a way to get your web site or e-mail into the interview or text.  Be sure to log in every couple of months as that is one of the search criteron.  and the price is right, it's free...

Note to earth...  Escorts caters to the ladies who pay for the site.  There are NOT the safeguards on the reviews that we have here.  Shop there, check them out here...

I think that it is important to advertise but, there is a fine line because safety is most important

Just as a check, MN is in the Midwest not the Northeast
