Since I have been a reader for years but have just become active and plan on seeing a lady next week, at least that is the plan. I have a question on giving your real name. I have been reading posts for years on the other boards but rarely on the Newbie board because I was never in the market to partake. Now that I am about to partake I keep reading a myriad of responses.

I see people say to never give your real name but if you do not have references and the lady is going to screen you how in the world do you avoid giving your real name? If you have to fill out her form on her website they almost always include your real name. If you have to be screened through your job then you still need to give your real name. I am truly confused. How does someone like myself that has never seen a woman in "this world" and not give my real name?

How can I be screened to make the lady comfortable that I am legit and a nice guy unless I give her my real name and she can verify me through my employment or any other way she feels necessary? I am trying to avoid giving my real name but I don't know how to get around it. And all sound advice is truly appreciated.

But if go with a service like P411, you can get into this hobby by ONLY sharing your name with them if that is your comfort level.  At first you will need to book with a newbie friendly P411 lady, but after you get an "okay" from her a world of options will open up to you.  Do a search here for P411 to read more about their service, or just go to their site to find out more.

In some markets (especially where supply outstrips demand, pun intended), it is sometimes possible to make dates w/o full real name info.  If you review, are not a jerk, get those early dates to vouch for you as referrals and build up from there, it may be possible to avoid full disclosures until you're more comfortable.  It just might be easier to provide personal  info ONCE to a service like P411, Date-Check, RS2K, etc..

Your choice.

Good luck

Sofia,

May I please ask why you are no longer Newbie friendly? If I were to pay for the P411 annual registration will that get me clearance with the ladies? Or would that not be enough for you or someone else that is not newbie friendly? Thank you very much.

Unless you are planning to see ladies who do not screen (which is itself a huge risk), there is no way around it. If you do not have references, we must be able to verify that you are not LE and/or a violent person. When I was newbie friendly (not anymore), I used to do job verification and background checks to make sure the person didn't have a criminal record of violence.

 Good luck,

Sofia,

Thank you so much for taking the time to make things clearer for me. I only have two more questions, I don't want to take advantage of your time.

I don't want to have to join several of the pay sites, do you suggest I choose P411 as that is the one that will possibly open up the door for me with more options? If I can see 3 ladies with my paid membership then I would be able to see ladies like yourself.

The second question is, if I pay for P411 will I know who has given me the OK?

Again, I truly thank you for your kindness.

Hi, I am no longer Newbie friendly as a precaution. I believe there is a higher chance of getting caught by LE if they decide to specifically target a provider; they would just need to find a collaborator to provide his job information.

Also, the fact that someone has a job doesn't tell me much about them. Yes, they are probably highly educated, but they could also be violent or aggressive. An example is Philip Markoff (The Craigslist Killer) who was a med student.
It only takes one bad person to hurt or kill a provider.

So the best way to keep myself safe is by only meeting gents who have references from well established providers. It's not 100% proof, but it has kept away from trouble and all the gentlemen that I have met have been truly awesome.

When you join P411, you will still need to look for ladies within the P411 network who are "Newbie Friendly"; it will be displayed on the profiles. I only see members who are "Basic Plus 3"; this means that you must have at least 3 OKs/references from other ladies. P411 and Date-Check are convenient because they make the process of booking an appointment faster. Some ladies take up to 48 hours to reply to a reference request via email, so I cannot confirm an appointment with the gent until I have heard from each lady. With P411/Date-Check, I can see right away who gave you an OK, when the OK was given, and her information.

 Hugs,
 Sofia

once you have a couple okays under your belt, you will literally have thousands of options available to you across the country on P411.

And yes, you will be able to see who has given you an okay.  You can also make an okay request via P411 after you have had a date.  Ladies on there are supposed to reply within a certain amount of time to such requests (and date requests too) - if they don't, then they could even get dropped from the site.  All this type of info can be found on the P411 site.

I'm sure Sofia will answer the question specifically related to her.

Happy hobbying
