Have not found an answer by searching....lets say you (hobbyist) want to get a nice hotel room to see a provider who only offers outcall. You have cash, and a pre-paid credit card (with no name on it). Is there any way to get a room at a nice hotel without providing personal information such as your real name-address etc. a driver's license or credit card with your name on it?
years ago, in the hooker areas like Hollywood and around the LA airport the motels never needed any ID since you were just renting the room for a short time. BUT recently, there's legislation where you won't be able to rent rooms by the hour here in LA.
It hasn't passed yet but it may.
Almost every motel and hotel will require ID since if you decide to steal the TV, punch holes in the walls or fuck something up, the management will have ID on you and recourse to go after you for damages.
Now you can go to some motels or hotels and if you're a frequent fucker there, you do get a pass and don't have to show your ID. That's happened to me many times.
Here's what I'll sometimes use if you really don't want to show your ID. Call ahead and talk to a few people at the front desk. Get to know their names.
When you walk in, hope you have good eyesight, you greet the employee by name and tell them that it's been a while since you've been there, ask them how they are doing.
[Now you'll get busted if the employee just stated last week...lol]
I'll bring a box of doughnuts or some bagels to give to them. They wil be embarassed to ask for your ID if you walk in like you know them.
But if management is tough, they want ID from every guest. It just depends on how smooth a talker you are.
When I was underage, I'd walk into bars, say to the bartender, it was good to see him and that it has been a little bit of time since you last saw him. I've used this and got served every time.
You can do the old routine of saying you lost your wallet and don't have ID but are willing to put up a cash deposit for the room but you should be prepared to have a few hundred dollars in cash. I've done this a few times.
You can research all of this when you call ahead. Say that you lost your briefcase on the plane and don't have your wallet which was in the briefcase but you did manage to get some cash from the ATM and so on....
Sounds like you're married and want to be as discrete as possible and don't want to leave a paper trail.
With the internet, you can get any number of fake DL's and ID's out there. But a suggestion, get an out of state ID since people working at hotel front desks see lots of ID's.

I worked at a hotel while in college, and these 2 very regular guests always brought CASES of bagels to the cute Jewish girl that worked at the desk with me. I always thought it was because they owned the bagel company, but maybe they were boinking some hottie on the side. I still think of her every time I see that brand of bagel in the store.
By the way, I never pushed for ID when a guy came in late at night with that "please don't ask any questions" look, but some of my co-workers were real sticklers for it. But then again, I had the master key for my personal use.
i just checked into a hotel this past weekend and had to show a picture ID.
I don't remember the last time I had to show ID at a hotel.
There are some providers who will rent the room and allow you to reimburse her with cash. Be prepared for the rate to be a bit steeper. She will likely find the most flexible rate for cancellations, just in case.

Yes, I know the provider can get the room, but not in all cases is the provider interested in doing this and I wanted to be able to control the arrangements in a particular case...and I am asking in the specific situation where I want to book the room but not have my identity disclosed.....I am that way in general...have a hobby phone and offer references instead of personal info. Just wondering if someone had enough cash for a deposit and a pre-paid CC, if there was a way...would not want to rely on the gift at the front desk idea because it is not reliable....and would not want to get a fake ID. Do not want a cheap Hollywood hotel....just wondered if there was a way...thanks for the input.

There is an anonymous pre paid Card with All Access… you can also get prepaid gift cards w/ AMX which are strikingly similar to Credit Cards and as well as most major CC companies that offer “gift cards” w/ imprinted names on them. Just have the name imprinted that you wish to use.
So....… now you have a form of credit with an alias. Open an account w/ Hilton Honors and then once you have been given a member number set up an account online w/ this name.
You can now check in online and secure payment w/ the card. As long as the billing address for the card and the mailing address on your account are the same you should have no problem approaching the front desk and picking up your key. (*they might ask for the card to make an imprint but you shouldn’t be asked for ID*)
The Hilton properties have an affiliation with The Waldorf Astoria so I am sure you could find a hotel in the upper end category that would be nice for a meeting with a provider. I’m not sure if Marriott has online check in or not as I usually stay with the Hilton Properties.
Several of the chain hotels are no offering online check in and that usually offers a way to waive the ID at check in procedure. Starwood has also gotten on board recently.
This is just a hypothetical solution to your dilemma. Sorry I can’t give you any more definite methods to accomplish what you want. I’m sure there is a way. (*where there is a will there is a way*) Your chances of accomplishing it with Chain facilities will probably be higher than smaller boutique type places. (*I try to avoid smaller Inns and Boutique type places when hobbying as they have more time and attention to devote to each guest….( In my book that just equals a bigger chance of problems)

Have the provider get the room. (*I have frequently reserved a hotel room for a meeting with a client*) I have even provided a hotel room for the gentleman to remain in after I leave his company......
I understand that some of the gentlemen that I spend time with are not in a position to feel at ease with a hotel room bieng in their name. it isn't a big deal for me to reserve th eroom, check in just prior to the gentleman's arrival and give him the suite number as he is arriving...
