When I worked for an agency, I would get a call saying that the client's time was up, and that he ad to leave.

I thought that to very impersonal and clinical. With an independent provider, that won't happen.

I have been trying to figure out which is  better to go with I have only used a independent so far.but some of these girls from the agencies are beautiful. I just do not want to get ripped off. so if any of you can help me with the advantages and dissadvantges of both  it would really help

Personally I only go independent and well reviewed independents at that. Some of them used to work for agencies, so an agency doesn't mean ur gonna get ripped off.

Your best best is to do your research, make sure that both the agency and the particular girl you see are well reviewed (you can check agency reviews by searching on phone number to find all girls with that agency who have been reviewed).

Good Luck

Good info above.  The only thing to add is that it sometimes depends on the part of the country you are hobbying.  Well reviewed ladies (at least 5 or 6 reviews by reviewers with a history of reviews--again 5 or 6) can be found under independents as well as agencies.  I usually select independents because I've found they do not watch the clock as much.  A lot of agency girls get a call from the agency at 50-55 minutes to let them know the time is almost up.  What a mood breaker.

...that won't happen'.

And there in lies an undeniable fact that is embedded within this thread.

Indy providers can be both bad and good in terms of quality of service.  Agency providers can be both good and bad in terms of quality of service.

Clock-watching, appointments booked too close to one another and rushed sessions can and do happen in each circumstance.  While I would agree that a case could be made that agency based providers may have a higher incidence of these traits, the best advice to give on making any provider choice decision is to do your homework.  Read reviews.  If there is a decent history of posted reviews by seasoned hobbyists' indicating consistently good service then her indy vs. agency status is secondary.

With the above being realized, i.e good and bad can occur in each instance, I would say the 'pros' of each choice are as follows:

Indy:  Manages her schedule and fees as she sees fit.  Will typically avoid too many bookings and/or close bookings in a given day thus maximizing the chances for a quality and a relaxed session.  She'll also likely complete screening on her own which keeps your personal info in the hands of just the one person who you are visiting.

Agency:  Can be a God-send for a business traveler who is new to town and unable to book a specific date/time until the last minute.  Can also be benefical for a hobbyist who lives somewhere with limited local indy talent.

I'm certainly with the majority who will say that I prefer indies over agency by a large margin. However I'm very cognizant of the usefullness of agencies and I appreciate that at times they can represent the best option.

I use both agencies and indy girls. The simple fact is that both have advantages and disadvantages. Good and bad indys exist, good and bad agencies do as well. In Boston we have several great agencies but when I travel I find myself calling indy girls much more often.  The key is to do your research before choosing either. Ultimately you are seeing the lady who is being reviewed, not the agency that she may be working for.
