What's the deal with providers and their threats of putting someone their "DNS" list?

I responded to 2 visiting providers coming to Atlanta, made arraignments to meet the followng week, re-arraigned my schedule for those 2 days, and they teh simply ignored me.  OK.  I then put a POST on the Atlanta Board posing a rethorical  Q in re is it commonplace for provders to ignore someone undr these circumstance?  I mentioned nobody's name.  All hell broke loose, both providers came forward and ID'd themselve and launched vicious attack on me!

Now both providres have said they have put me on their "DNS" list.

Is this possible?

anythings possable I guess.
Just like a review we, the ladies can get and feel it was not fair. It happens.  Doesn't make it right...but it does happen. So all you do if you feel you were misunderestood is use other ladies you have seen as a reference that will favor you. Move on, you cant change what they do so don't worry about it.

Is it possible for a provider to put you on their Do Not See List? Maybe you meant that in a different context, but any provider can put you on their DNS list any time they chose.... Just as you can put any provider on your DNS list any time you choose, for any reason you see fit. I have many providers on my DNS list..LOL

Don't you get it? Nobody feels sorry for you. You brought all this crap on yourself. Vicious attack on you? Are you really that lame? I know this is the Newbie board where we're all supposed to be nice, but enough is enough. Get over yourself already.

The only thing you have managed to accomplish is to reinstate Atlanta as drama capital of TER. Las Vegas, you're welcome. We reclaim our crown after many months of peaceful coexistance  and relative harmony. Thanks to one noob who just can't seem to let things go.

If anyone is really, really bored you ca read all about it on the atlanta board. We now return you to our regular scheduled programming. Anyone wnat to know about STDs or tipping? lol

You might get a better reply if you PM some of the gentlemen. The Newbies is not the place to post this question because they have lack of experience in this area. Therefore won't be able to comment their own opinions to you.
Now you posted this in the Atlanta board, General board, and now here. Haven't you gotten your answers yet?

If you want to come on here as a 2 review Newbie and ask for information about what a DNS is, then do so.  You, instead, are using this as another platform to beat a horse that has been buried and decomposed.

If you want to come on here and seek information on how to reform your Board rep or how to avoid becoming a pariah, then do so.  Tailor your inquiries to seeking actual help, and we'll be happy to help you, but otherwise please man up and let it go.

Jumping boards like this is a great way to get moderated IMHO.

and i dare you to question that.

their dns list is their business.

however, THE blacklist is the one we share and its not used for trivial reasons such as this. since we list the reason for the blacklisting, even if they did put you on it for something so trivial, no one would even acknowledge it. .

i understand your a lil bored, i hope things get better for you.

What are the reasons that would put someone on the DNS list?  Never had any problems with any providers, so wasn't aware that you could get on such a list.

of guys they dont want to see

for whatever reason.. lots of reasons.

the blacklist is a national list of clients who are dangerous or threatening to our biz in some way.

anything from excessive ncns, "slipping" a condom off and attempting to bareback,  pulling a knife on a girl, ripping the girl off.

its for our safety, not because we dont like a guy.. if we dont like a guy, he's goes on our dns list which is our personal list.

dippy here is getting all excited because 2 girls put them on "their" dns list.. .i dont know what the problem is cuz if he set up appts and they flaked on him, he shouldnt be too worried about seeing them anyway.

well see I didn't have all the details..that makes more sense. If I was a guy and I made 2 seperate appts with 2 different ladies and they Both were canaelled..I would be wondering...what is it that I am doing to get this end result TWICE!!
So you may want to look inside yourself and see WHY they have now put you on their dns list!!

Has a guy on a girl's dns list ever gotten back into their good graces?

So what if a provider put a guy on their dns list. As a guy, if a provider doesn't want to see me, I don't want to see her either. Forget it and move on to the next one in line, there are way too many providers out there to worry about trying to get one of them to change their mind about their dns list.

you as a provider can go in and dispute a review.  It will be changed if your past reviews reflect an inaccuracy, or you can provide other pertinent information proving your case, this poor gent has no recoarse but to do as you say.  Chaulk one up for the provider.

"It will be changed if your past reviews reflect an inaccuracy"

I beg to differ on that one, I think that would apply only in extreme cases. First, rarely ever will any review be 'changed' at all, normally it stays or is removed. But just because it is different from previous reviews is absolutely no reason to change or remove it, especially if by an established reviewer. Normally it must basically be proven beyond a doubt that the review is false or it will usually stay.

First of all, at no time did I NCNS this person. Neither did the other provider mentioned.

This individual made a very disparaging remark towards myself and another provider who were coming to Atlanta. He hinted enough that everyone pretty much knew who he was talking about. Neither Amanda nor I flaked or NCNS this person. He attempted to make an appointment with ME, and then preceded to change his appointment time and day. While I acknowledged that it left me struggling to try and rearrange my schedule immediately before a 4 day vacation with my children to Florida. He was impatient and without emailing me or checking to see if I had reworked my schedule he posted a very inflammatory post aimed at discrediting me and how I do business. If you read the entire thread (page 3 on the Atl board) you will see that I defended myself adequately and never once personally attacked him. All his subsequent posts were aimed at trying to garner sympathy where none is due.

I emailed him in a timely fashion, 72 hours before our date, to confirm. That is normal business practice for me. This individual is determined to stir anyone and everyone up that he can for what ever reason. I do not appreciate him using this situation that was minor as a platform to garner attention.

He has put himself on quite a few DNS lists with his inability to let things go and I for one am not sorry that he showed his true colors before I met him because it has ultimately saved me time and energy dealing with a whiny cry baby like him.

Without knowing all the facts or taking the time to read the previous posts by this individual he does seem like the injured party. I've got a violin here to play him a sad sad song too.

He is clearly not a newbie but posted here for one reason only. So people would "feel" for him. He got no sympathy on the Atlanta board, and so wants to see if he can get some here.

I think you're confusing guys.  I've never had any problems booking appointments.  So, you must be confusing me with the guy that started the the thread who clearly has a different handle.  this is the first I've heard of DNS list.  My question was for the ladies anyway.   So, in the cases where you had a guy on your dns list, did they ever get back into your good graces?  I was just cruious how that dns list process works... is it a list you have printed out next to yoru phone, do you program it into your phone?

I wished this topic was started by someone else, who didn't have an ulterior motive that we didn't know about since it's actually a very interesting topic worth discussing (that's the first I've heard of a dns list)...it would be interesting to see how the DNS list works.

In regards to Rae, having looked at your photos I can see why he was so worried about being on your dns list.....some times its hard to move on when the girl looks that good. :)  Most of us aren't from Atlanta anyway, so have no clue about all that....just thought this was a straight forward topic about dns lists.  Do you guys have a link to the heated thread that you guys are talking about?

I did notice a pattern in how quickly my phone calls were picked up with my atf.  For a while, it would be several hours or a long while before she returned a phone call...but now, she'll pick up right away or call back if I don't leave a message.... Of course, I've made a concerted effort to be on her good side... so could a client earn his way onto a preferred lists... If there's a dns list, conversely wouldn't a preferred list exist too?  Is there such a thing?

I made an appointment to see a woman (who is reviewed on TER BTW) at a later time that evening.  I thought we were on for a 1/2 hour appointment, and arrived at the agreed to spot at the agreed to time.   No Answer on the phone.   Kept calling every 10 minutes, and finlly a male answered the phone calling me every nasty name in the book.

I figured it was time to give up, but wrote her a simple email saying that it is not very professional to say that you will meet someone at a time, and then not only not answer the phone, but then have a male answer the phone and attack you.

She responded (stupidly) with a inane response about how I was wrong (no reason given though), and that I was on her DNS list.   I merely responded that since I was visiting from out of town, that I seriously doubt that I would ever even want to see her, so she should not even waste her time.   That was the last time I heard from her.

In my experience, if a woman is ignorant enough to let a little thing bother her, or a general post about no-shows mentioning no names, then she is someone I would never want to see anyways.

Of course I know nothing about this specific situation, so I cannot comment about it.   I am talking about generalities here!

No lady "owes" me a visit...  I am always a gentleman so a lady wants to have me visit.  I understand & respect that a lady has personal responsibilities, schedules besides entertaining me.  It is a give & take to get a schedule right...  sometimes it doesn't work out & that's not personal, unless you make it personal.
Anyone who does not understand this is not a gentleman and I predict will have trouble finding dates.

you when he said that the original poster was on his way back into the ladies' good graces, but couldn't let go because his brain did a NCNS, and then Boris was seconding that sentiment and taking it further by telling the guy to let it go.  They were talking about him, not you.

I do know that I've been lucky enough to be "remembered" by a few ladies.  They answer my calls, and work around normal scheduling constraints to get together.

I've actually called from one number and it went to voice mail, and called back from my regular number and it was picked up right away.  Being a known commodity has it's advantages.

We all have men and woman who we know we don't want to see. Doesn't really matter why. Its a preference.
I can have a conversation with someone on the phone and the tone of his voice I find annoying so I know I don't want to see him.
I can understand it may be frustrating to feel you may not know why, and I am not talking about this one situation, but in general. Too bad really. She as the provider does not owe you an explanation. Its her choice.
Like you Gents choose who to see and who Not to see.
Now about this same Question being asked on any board he could put it on...thats BS Its called shooting a curve. Like you keep asking different people tilyou get the answer you want. Enough.
Its like a 4yr old with the "Why" questions. Enough! You clearly have pissed Everyone off that you could. You asked the Q with out informing us, here that you already srarted a Riot in Atlanta I guess. Still havent read that thread, and I don't think I'm going to. I would guess its a waste of time he is just a whiner.

Ladies..relax I saw your reviews...don't worry about it. To even answer him in any way is beneith you and anyone who knows you knows this.
If by my answer, being that I was and still am a bit uninformed on the nitty gritty details, If in any way you feel I did you wrong with my answers...none were meant that way.
***Now Again I feel the need to say...and I order you All to knock it off and go get laid.
Well everyone but the original poster, hes out of luck for the fact that he has now even been put on my DNS list just for the hell of it. And cause I can!!! Sorry Babe...Nothing you can do about it.
Next time you may want to tell The Whole Story.

Play safe everyone~~~Nicole
