Minimally, you'll need a photo hosting site. That is, you'll have to create an account (free or paid) and upload some photos to an image hosting site, e.g., imagecoast, imgur, etc..

You'll probably have some Qs, but read those posts to get the gist of things and come back and ask away.

1a) Go to: http://postimg.cc/
   
    b) Choose a size from the drop down; or leave blank
   
    c) Choose a expiry time; or leave blank
   
    d) Click the 'Choose Image' button, and select the image you want to upload
   
2) On the next page that open automatically, copy the second link- "Direct Link".
   
3) Paste that into the 'Picture URL' box on the TER board post submission
