Was just about to send a provider a PM. From her profile, when I hit send pm and a new window opens with the blank message, I notice that where it says to: it's a totally different name. I ain't talking about a different spelling or an underscore added, it's a completely different name. Closed it, and refreshed the profile and it's the same name again when I try to pm. Just who the hell is gonna get the message? I don't want to fuck a stranger in the ass because some messaging wires are getting crossed and the wrong people are getting the wrong pm's.
WTF?? Is there a logical explanation for this? I've pm'd several folks here before and never seen nothing like this. Thanks.... are not always the same.

...so the "To:" in the PM should be the same as the name of the profile.
the same as any member... which may be different that their provider name.
When they get a review, their provider profile is set up.
The provider can (but is not required to) message TER to get the accounts linked. Most link their accounts, because there are benifits. Free limited VIP. Can read their own reviews fully. Access to the PM system.
I'm not a provider so can't give details, but I think you'll find this provider has a different handle.
There's no correlation that's required between a provider's profile name and their handle (used for PMs and posting).
Usually they're close, if not the same. But not always.Imposter is correct. A PM always goes to a handle. It doesn't matter if you click the yellow envelope under a post, Click on the "send PM" button on a profile, or type it in the "to" field of the PM window.
Hey, wanted to say a big thank you to all who replied. Appreciate the info, it makes more sense now.
For a minute there I was out of my element. Thanks.
