LLAP,I've been looking into how sounds affect my own experience, and discovered there's a whole swath of people who're doing the same. It's called Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response (ASMR) and your "trigger" seems to be leather. There's a lot of YouTube videos of various ASMR Triggers, so I've linked one below for leather if that helps you put a name to it.
