blocked phone numbers

i guess i can understand why a provider would not want to answer a blocked phone number. but why have almost all providers that have called me have their phone number blocked??

Maybe you should ask your wife how she'd react to answering your cell while you're in the shower and hearing a woman's voice on the other end.  It's easy to play off as a wrong number, but if there are other signs you're gettin some on the side, isn't it better if she can't call her back later.

How? Is there any way to unlist yourself?

The only way I know of is to use prepaid cell and prepaid residential neither require ID to obtain Of course you can have the carrier to have your # unlisted for a minor charge but a good skip tracer like me can still get it. Reverse cell #s was next to impossible until recently. Now for a fee you can get all call history of a cell I don't think your average hobbyist would invest the time or money to subscrbe to or buy the needed programs.
