When you are a newbie, is it worthwhile to post a review of an established provider who rips you off?

What exactly happened? She ripped you off, how? Did the appointment actually take place, or it was a NCNS (no call; no show) type issue?

Writing review always has risk of retaliation, especially if she has your personal info

She requested a deposit.  I took the chance.  I showed.  She did not.  Nor did she call.

...by the time it was posted it was immaterial.  

What a pain in the ass.

Think about what happened and after you have had time to cool down a little, if you still want to you will be able to write a review of the facts without the emotion or shock of just being ripped off.
 As a newbie your review wont carry as much weight but might start to show a new pattern of behavior or make others feel safe telling their story if it has happened to more than just you.

It's just the common story. She asked for a deposit and I decided to take the chance.  I showed. She did not.  I called. She did not answer

You can't write a review because a meeting never took place. All you can do is tell your tale on your, or her, local board but be prepared for the heat you'll get if you do.

Kinda what I figured

You have little or no history here so you don't have much to lose by exposing what happened if she doesn't have your personal info.
 It is good when these things are exposed and it can help her change her ways or at least remind others what can happen when paying deposits.

Better luck next time. Never give any money as deposit that you are not ready to lose...

a different matter but in most cases, you have seen the provider already for a 1 or maybe even a 2 hr. encounter and have established a mutual level of trust.

I assume you are VIP?  

I think it would be OK to post generic complaint and mention that others can PM you for the name ... or sometimes, if your post is leading enough, you don't even have to offer PM info.  Others will contact you and ask for the ID.

Local Board: "Lost my deposit."  Boy, am I pissed.  ... I made an appt ... paid a deposit ... then NCNS. ... ... What a newbie mistake.  No more deposits for me!" And others will ask "Who? Who? WHO??" and then you defer to PM.  Or, you can offer "PM for more details."

Newbie don't feel bad something like that happened to me to. I just told tier and asked for there advice,and they told me to write another review,tell what happened to warn others and give her a 1, which is rip off status. I did as they said and didn't feel bad about doing it because Tier backed my story up. Read my reviews and you will find it. Take care hope i could help.

You handed her the money and she ripped you off she didn't NCNS you. There is a difference and you can't review someone you never met, unless there has been a change in policy.
