Importance of Whitelist References

I have noticed that many of the most "senior" reviewers have few or no whitelist references. I am a little surprised. Is there a reason I am not yet smart enough to grasp, why you would want to discourage them. I got past my first agency screening with a suggestion that they "google me" to confirm data. however, it seems that there has got to be a better shorthand way of proving myself.

BYW, I didn't ask my first provider for a ref. pending on asking this question tho those with greater knowledge.

The White List is a pretty new feature. It has only been around for the last month or two. I have now added my name as a reference for two men that I have seen, and in both cases, asked them before I added my name to their list of referrals. I think most ladies feel the same way in terms of confirming with the gentleman before adding a referral. Give it a few more months, and I imagine most gentlemen will have accumulated a few referrals.

In terms of their usefulness though.....its hard to say if they will be very useful as a form of providing referrences. Most of the time, I don't know the gentleman is a TER member until the topic comes up during our session, if it does at all. So having a white list referral wouldn't have helped them. If a man told me in advance that he was a TER member with a list of referrals, I might accept that as a form of screening, but only if the referrals he has are from ladies who are well reviewed, and only if he contacts me through TER so that I know he is actually in control of the account in question.

Just a few of my thoughts, hope it helps :o)

I am a provider that is trying to give a reference for a client, but cant figure out how to do it!!! Help!

This has been discussed a couple times on other TER boards.  Some guys don't want them (and turn off the display).  Some of the ladies don't do it unless asked to, and others are bothered by guys asking for it.  I have 2 presently, although I'm confident that more women would say good stuff if asked (I won't request it).  2 is plenty for me, they're among my favorite friends and they know it, so it's all good.  It's a farily new feature, and like all databases, it takes a while to fill up with good info.

Established reviewers have little concern or need for a "white listing". The depth of their resume precludes most screening concerns. More often it is the Newb' that will profit by a provider's largess in taking the time to afford him this favor.

Why put the provider thru extra work if not needed?
After all, time is money, this is a business - and most established reviewers really do not need it although my ego could use the boost occasionally.
Besides that, members of Date Check, RS2K etc have more than enough ladies to pick from.

It would take a provider literally less than 30 seconds to give a reference next time they log onto TER.  Click "reviews" tab, click "search white list", type client's handle, click "add reference".  Done.  I don't think that's too much to ask.

That is provided her handle is already linked to her reviews on TER.  Even getting that done is only a matter of sending one quick email to [email protected] with their handle and either a link to their profile here and/or their email addy and/or phone number asking TER to link her handle and reviews.
