When showing up at a private residence incall,  is it cheesy or improper to bring a flower,  or a gift.  I dont want to feel like I am taking her to the prom,  but I do want the provider to know that I am gratefull and respect them.  Is there anyproper gifts to bring to a private residence.

It is certainly not cheesy or improper to bring a gift, but no matter what you do, you should be extremely discreet in how you do it.

Imagine if you were the nosy neighbor or maintenance worker, seeing a parade of gift-bearing suitors knocking on her door with an assortment of flowers, wine bottles, candy boxes, bow-wrapped packages, and toaster ovens.  NOT cool.

The best idea I've heard is to either make it a small enough gift to easily conceal (hence the preference of many ladies for gift cards or manicure/spa gift certificates), or carry it in some type of 'container' that will not draw unwanted attention or look out of place.  Both grocery bags and shopping bags usually work well.

I'm sure you'll get quite a few more ideas from the regulars here -- right, ladies and gents?

No, it's not cheesy and a small, inexpensive gift is a lovely thought and will be appreciated.  A box of chocolates is small enough to be discreet.  And even the donation inside a nice card shows thoughtfulness.

If you know the lady's tastes then consider a CD or a book.

I will always bring a gift, usually a candle, and I carry it in a grocery bag.  You can get some really nice candles at the grocery store for under $10, Publix in Florida where I live.  I have met very few women, providers or civies, that don't like candles.

First time I went with a provider I thought about bringing a gift. I was going to take a cute Hello Kitty plush doll.. But decided not to.. At the beginng of the session I gave her a nice tip which brought a big smile to her face. The session when great maybe the tip did the trick. Cash I think is the most appreciated gift :) :) :)

And there is no difference whether it be in a hotel or home to what gifts one would bring. If you know a girl does own her own home.. Plants and flowers are wonderful.. Or gift cards for HOme Depot /Lowes.

The problem lies in hotel rooms when men bring huge bouquets/plants/ etc.. Most touring girls fly, train, or bus it. We generally leave them in the room or give them to front desk to donate to a church or nursing home .

It isn't like you are showing up for prom at all. Afterall, if you search out GFE's, dont you normally bring your  girlfriend a gift here and there ? If not ? WHY NOT ? LOL!

Great idea, especially when seeing a lady for the 2nd or 3rd time, I always try to remember something from or previous conversations for an appropiate gift, a new CD or book is always appreciated.

That is cheezy, you give them money thats enought.  I had provider friends that make fun of people bring them gifts, unless they are repeats. She said its a sure thing you dont have to try that hard.
