Is it the provider herserlf or is it a compilation of hobbyists reviews?

After that, changes to the profile only come from someone offering a problem report and TER accepting the report.

Many have suggested that the profile should be upgraded to reflect a compilation of the various reviews, but the problem of interpreting and making those changes would be quite arduous.

Reading reviews is really the only proper way to assess a gal's talents.

Hmmmm.....wouldnt it make more sense for the provider herself to list her services? I'm sure there are cases where a hobbyist has incorrectly listed a service as "yes" or "no"  and it could cost the provider some business.

TER's approach does put the responsibility on the hobbyist to "get it right."  IMO the hobbyist writing the first review should confirm the profile details with the provider before publishing the review.

...submitting the review. Each time a review was submitted any previously unmarked service provided could be added.

Gents can file problem reports to change or add services. This does require some evidence be submitted. Providers can also file problem reports to correct things.

very often a reviewer will list no against a service simply because he never thought to ask the gal and assumed that because he didn't do it, then she doesn't offer it.

However, do keep in mind that many if not most of the gals who do get reviewed on TER are not TER members and may not have even ever heard of TER, so that being the case, they are simply never going to get around to filling out a profile, and by default, it is the reviewer who must do so.

she can send in a problem report to edit her services, as well as her stats.  For some of the stats, her reviews or photos would have to back it up...for example a lady changing her body type from average to athletic would need supporting documentation of this in her reviews, and a lady challenging her body type as "flabby" could take a cell phone picture and send it to TER for them to determine what they feel is accurate. (I know of this happening a couple of times, although it is probably done on a case-by-case basis).

It seems silly to me to not just have a provider sign up, create her profile, and get issued a TER ID, then let the games begin. I know that the existing system has been around forever, but its very inefficient and kinda backwards. A provider is at the mercy of her first reviewer and if its accuracy is off and she's not right on top of it it can cost her business. It just seems very inefficient and time consuming to "fix" stuff by having to submit reports. It shouldn't fall on the lady or gent hobbyist to input this info. But I guess everyone is used to it and accepts it.

...profiles from time to time.  TER added a few categories a few months back, and I contacted admin telling them which activities I partake, and those I do not.  I do not want to waste a gentleman's time, or having him ask inappropriate questions.

The way it is done now is the proper way. A hobbyist review is the first step to legitimacy on TER.

I said this once before. There is no place on TER for a profile without reviews. It would be worthless. All of a provider's stats can be posted in their ads and or websites.

There would also be a substantial amount of abuse. Providers would create multiple profiles in hopes that one would get a review, and it sticks. Then you will have providers with bad reviews creating new profiles to escape the older reviews or simply adding lipstick to create a new persona.

Some providers may attend to their profiles to keep them updated, but most providers do not. If I had the time I could easily submit 50 or more problem reports on a Sunday afternoon. Providers should pay attention to their profiles and update them and correct them when needed. Unfortunately there are also a lot of dishonest providers who know their profiles need updating but they won't bother.
If a provider can't be reliable enough to honestly update her profile, then it won't be expected with them creating their own.

The way it is done now is accepted because it makes sense. It is not a flawless system, but it works fairly well.

One of the categories that was added was Female Condoms, but I've read the reviews of a  couple of providers who supposedly used them and the hobbyists reported that male condoms were used.

Disappointing.  I'd really like to find a provider who uses the female version.

That would be on a case-by-case basis...just because a lady offers the use of a FC, does not mean any of the gents who reviewed her took her up on them. So, just because they stated in their review that male condoms were used, does not mean the lady doesn't offer FC...those gents probably just did not want to use the FC.

I can't imagine that any guy would not want a lady to use a FC.  I've never had the pleasure, but from the client's point of view they would seem to offer him a much more natural-feeling experience.

The FC is the next best thing to wearing nothing, but some people just can't get past the way it looks.
If you want to try a FC, when she is reaching for the condom, tell her you would like to try one if she has any. Remember, the key to a great experience with one is lots of lube.
