Do most of you longterm hobbyists normally meet up with providers within the same city in which you live?  Or, do you rather travel out to other locations and keep meetings away from home?

Obviously, this question is directed towards people in relationships.  But, anyone is free to chime in.

Generally I will seek companionship locally and when traveling on business or pleasure, have a nice romp with a lady in the destination city...
Once you have established yourself with some of the providers in your area, one great way to get superior service while away is to ask them for their recommendations.

I prefer seeing the same lady several times so in the same city is easier. If you live in a big city and she has a nice incall in a different part of town, I don't think you should be too concerned.

In New York City, I wouldn't have any care that I might be seen entering a hotel in mid-town by a neighbor or friend; but in my own hometown (population around 200,000) it's a different story.

If I did decided to meet up with someone from my town, I would probably arrange the rendezvous at a hotel twenty miles outside of town.

I once arranged to meet someone at a hotel in town, and when I went to answer the door, my wife was there instead of my date.  She was driving by and saw my car parked right out in front of the hotel and tricked the desk clerk into getting the room number and coming right up to surprise me.

A good day, it was not.

Have done both.  I have long term assignments in other cities - makes it really easy in the set up out of town opportunities (too easy some time - can get really expensive).  In town takes more thought and planning but is pretty easy as well.

I do both. I see ladies in the city where I live (perhaps after work or during lunch). When I go out of town on business, I will see providers in those cities as well. The important aspect is obviously discretion.

town.  Fortunately, I travel on business which allows the company to pick up the hotel costs.

I live in NYC and I have been lucky so far that none of my providers are located anywhere near where my friends and family live, work, or hang out.  In a city this size, that's entirely possible.

There is one provider I've been wanting to see but she provides near where my wife works, so that's out of the question.  I wouldn't be surprised if my wife has seen her in civvie life several times already.  Anyway TMI.

Take public transportation if there is one available in your city, even if it's just one bus making two trips a day.  If not, take a taxi.  I've been doing that ever since my first venture into the hobby.  (Then again, I live in a big city.)  I mentioned this to one of the providers, and she said it was a very smart thing to do.  Maybe it's an idea you can use.
