For potential clients that have no TER account, LinkedIn profile, provider references or any other way to verify should I take their Instagram page as part of verification?  I still get a little hung up on screening newbies!!  Also, how many of you hobbyists reach out to providers initially via text or phone calls vs. email/screening forms?   Curious because I'm thinking about taking my hobby phone number off of ads and website.

Hi Delaney.  I'm somewhat of a newbie in this world so I make sure to follow the provider instructions on initial contact.  The few I've seen have always preferred email with an introduction first. Once screened we then communicate by phone call or text.  I actually prefer this way also.  A nice gentlemanly email intro goes a long wayfrom what I've been told

I can't remember the last time I initially called a provider.  However, after initial contact, I will offer to speak to her if that makes her more comfortable with me.

I like email, or text, or PM thru here or another site.  I do not like using appt. forms on providers' websites.

I would not recommend you deleting your phone number from your ads, esp if you can get texts on it.  If it's a pure hobby phone, it shouldn't be a problem.

Swi

provider can respond when she can. No need to play phone tag, especially if answering a phone can be difficult due to work or other circumstances.

I do not like screening forms on provider websites. I will give the required information but prefer using an email.

Ok, I like to speak on the phone like a day or so before the appointment to confirm.

I took a lot of junk off my screening form and I feel like it is now quite painless.

Your form looks good to me!  I hope to use it one day on my travels to Vegas...
