Being an Indepedent Newbie is quite mind-boggling especially for this Blonde. I started  advertising on CL. I no longer care to use that forum for all the known reasons, I'm wondering what advertising forums are safer/more reliable. I do have my own site & I am currently on Ecorts.com & EpicDreams. I'd like to advertise where I'll get noticed, high traffic site. Any recommendations? One more ? I just realized I am able to place an ad on here every 7 days. I did read some on how to do that, just wondering IF there's any big no-nos. Also, where or how do I include a pic in the ad I place on here. I apprecaite all the help I can get!

1- Good choice gettin' off CL.  Put's you at a higher standard.

2- Advertising forms would be your Minn. Regional board to get known.  Be active with a link to your websight
  Here in the midwest Eros.com, RS2K (Roomservice 2000.com) and Cityvibe.com are popular and higher end.  One step above CL is backpage.com  

3- Verification process can be done thru RS2K, Kathy is the moderator there.  Go to the websight and it's pretty self explanatory.  I know all the local gals speak very highly of her, as to her thoroughness, and response time verifying perspective clientele.

I'm not entirely sure how to post your own pics, someone I'm sure will come along and explain.

screening your clients, not where you advertise, though that does help too.  If you don't know how to screen your clients seek the help of some of the ladies, many will offer help and resources.

Where to advertise is highly dependent upon where guys in your area look for ads. Ask your clients where they look.

p411 is free for the ladies, so you might as well join there too.

Hi and welcome. I'm new to TER too. To include a picture in your add, you'll have to upload it to an image hosting site. I use this one imagecoast.com
Once you upload your pic it will give you the URL which you will enter it where it says picture URL above post message button. You can also add a link to your website where it says site URL. Hope this makes sense

I'm a new user (at least I hope to be).  Since I have never gone to a provider before, I have no history for a background check.  I have contacted several providers in vegas and no reply yet.  I am afraid they will just ignore me since I have no background to speak for.  What can I do to prove I'm good for it?

register with date-check or RM2000 is my suggestion. I have no idea what their requirements are, but it may help

I have noticed in some of the smaller market areas Ecorts.com seems to be very popular and Eros is almost unheard of. Cities like Richmond, VA come to mind.
