I was just wondering if providers generally have age ranges they prefer to escort - for example, "not younger than X, not older than Y."
Reason I ask is that I think I'm a bit younger than the typical clientele (I am 23), but I have a good head on my shoulders and I know how to treat a woman like a lady. Just wondering if this presents a problem.
It all depends on the lady.
Some ladies prefer older guys because of the maturity factor..and honestly their sexual nature. Older men tend to know how to please a woman more (not to stereotype too much and in any way offend you).
There is someone out there for you.
Or to be more blunt, older guys tend to have more cash and because of their experience, they tend to be more comfortable parting with it. It is an awfully rare 23 year old who is able to blow $300 or $500 on a couple of hours of fun.

And it has nothing to do with looks, or personality, just that some men (like me) just seem to be "friends" with every single woman they meet instead of thought of as a sex partner.
It was the bane of my existance in college. Every single woman told me about their boyhfriend problems, and their sex lives. I would casually mention that perhaps someone might want to want to give me a little, and was told "No, we think of you as a friend, not in a sexual way. None of us could have sex with you because you too much of a friend.

You're post sounds like my life story. If it weren't for the hobby, I'd be getting no action at all. 
I am not a bad looking person at all, although somewhat overweight (but not extremely overweight). Except for my SO of many years, I have never been intimate with another civvie. There was the incredible BBBJTCNQNS from the wife of a couple we were friends with (boy did that cause a major rift for a while ), but other than that, I have never connected with any other civvie woman at all.
Remember some of us just do not "connect" with civvie women like others do.
Hell, I would probably have sex with any woman who would have me just once to get the "one-night-stand" experience out of my fantasy and into reality.

Up until five years ago, I was a "wuss" and didn't understand women at all. After a wicked breakup (she was a cold b***ch), I took a few years off in the dating game.
Finally, I figured out how women work, and started getting action whenever I wanted to.
Why am I here then, you ask? Because women aren't "free". It takes anywhere between 2-4 dates to get into a woman's pants, and sometimes longer to hit it (depends how hot the woman is; how many other guys she has lined up). Women aren't nice. I was shocked to find that the woman down the street from me (an all american Big 10 girl) who was dating a guy for four years was nailing another guy at the same time.
For fun, I called her on it, and then laughed at her and told her that she was worse than a guy from college that we called Jerry Rice (he never dropped the ball with the ladies). Needless to say, she gets a tad bit uncomfortable when her boyrfiend is around and I talk with him.
Bottom line: You are doing hot women, and hot women aren't free. At the end of the day, you won't have to worry about a high maintenance wife taking 1/2 of your assets in a divorce.

I'll just say that with strikingly few exceptions, my female peers are people I wish to have little to nothing to do with. Afraid of relationships, every one of them; it's not just a male stereotype anymore. And frankly, shallow as hell.
I suppose I've also been plagued with the 'just friends' syndrome my entire life too, although that isn't my problem at the moment. I just got out of a hard relationship, moved across the country, and am way too busy with my new career to worry about a girlfriend... and the further I stay away from bars and clubs, the better.
I completeley understand that some providers prefer the sexual mindset of older men. I'm not like most guys my age that just bang away until they're done... I love being attentive to a woman's wants and needs... just makes it all that much better for me!

Over the holidays during the hustle and bustle I let the age thing slip through twice. I am very glad I did.. Met two great guys that are actually great friends of mine now. Both very professional businessmen already as well..

I'm a younger than average hobbyist myself, in a situation somewhat similar to yours. Most ladies, nearly all in my experience, will not even ask your age prior to your first meeting so it will never be an issue there. Some will be pleasantly surprized, or even excited about your youth, when finally meeting you in person; many women enjoy the variety too. However, it should also be noted that a few younger ladies(usually 18-21ish), no matter how professional they try to act, just simply are not comfortable on a personal level being intimate with a client close to there own age for various reasons and it will undoubtedly result in a lesser performance. So be prepared to experience a few disappointments before you find exactly what you desire.
You might try posting on a local board, and asking the other young guys in your area (via backchanneling if needed) which ladies are more comfortable with this clientele or those who are able to maintain there professionalism and quality of service regardless of it.
I also feel obligated to insert the usual warnings from seasoned veterans to proceed with caution. This hobby is costly and can get addictive for many when starting out. One must always keep the hobby in the proper perspective of fantasy, and never think of it as a replacement for real longterm committed relationships.

This is an excellent post, and you bring up a point I hadn't considered - that providers near my own age might actually experience hangups about it. It is certainly something I will keep in mind.
I'm also aware that hobbying is very similar to the strip club experience.. ever sit and watch a guy get enamored with a stripper up on stage? She gives him the impression that he's more 'special' than the other men there, so he gives her waay more money than he would have otherwise.. when of course all she was doing was trying to get him to give her more money; he's really no more special than any other man in the place. It's all psychology. I'm aware of it, though I guess since I'm new at it I'll still have to be on guard for it!

I talk to a few providers who have age restrictions/limits for seeing clients. I asked them why and they said they like the older guys because they can pay the price they ask for, even tipping and they usually get out one pop and they are done. Their words, not mine. As long as a client is at least 18 I will see. I have had very good times with 19-23 year olds. They were mature and most importantly revving to go several rounds. I don't agree with the age thing but you know you have to respect their preferences.
Im 20 about to turn 21 and seen several providers and i have never had a problem.In fact never once has it come up.Maybe cause i look older than i really am.
