How important is it to post an ad?

I have run into some problems even though I thoroughly read the guidelines.

This is what I read: 'Provider ad posts (and ISO replies) must include a link to either your personal website, your TER review profile, or directly to your ad on an escort mall.

I linked to TER review profile (the review, right?)

It also said: "If you include a link to your personal site in your ad post, your personal site must follow the PERSONAL SITE REQUIREMENTS FOR AD POSTING  below for your ad post to be posted."

But I didn't link to personal site. And this is what I got: 'Reason: The attached link in your post does not meet the requirements for submitting an ad on TER boards. At a minimum a site should list the provider's name, their contact information, and the TER emblem / link on the main page or the 2nd page of the site.'

I cannot email customer service, i keep getting errors. Is this a sign? Should I take it as an omen and just leave well enough alone? Sometimes when you force something it can end badly...I kind of believe in forces in the universe that act to be helpful and you shouldn't mess with them.

When you said "I linked to TER review profile (the review, right?)"
I think they want you to link to your profile, not to the review itself. Which did you put?
Below is the link to your profile.

Other than that, I dunno. But smarter people than me will be along shortly to help further. Good luck!

If you've tried using the link for your TER Profile (not a review but the profile page the reviews are attached to)  as suggested and you still get that error my guess would be the lack of the link to TER on your personal site. Might want to get that setup.

As for emailing support why not just try the Contact Us link or try the Report a Problem from this forum (though that's probably not the intended solution ;-)

I think Fearghas and Jensen nailed it, but I'll be even more explicit.

No. The PROFILE link itself, not one of the reviews.

This is your Profile link and this should be ALLOWED:
https://www.theeroticreview.com/reviews/show.asp?ID=306088

This is the link to your review which should be REJECTED:
https://www.theeroticreview.com/reviews/showReview.asp?Review=1904686

Your personal website does not seem to have a TER logo / link on it (that I can find):
http://melanie9635.wix.com/melanie7337
Because it does not comply with the requirements, that link URL would be rejected, too.

For help getting the TER logo on your website, search Newbie for "TER Banner" [exact phrase] for, maybe, 300 or 400 days back. Or start another thread to ask for more detailed instructions.

the hobbyists in her area. No better way than to take advantage of your 1 allowed ad every 7 days.

I peruse the ads for my region almost daily even though I only play about once a month and often see ladies I have seen previously. For me, it is important to know who might be coming to visit that is on my bucket list.

I also check new reviews to see who the up and coming stars might be.

If a provider gives good service at a fair price she can be successful in this bizz.

i definitely linked to ACCEPTED link (i don't even know how to find the other one without you having shown me)

It could be the TER banner thing but i chose the easy way to link to review because setting up a banner at this time (the instructions are there in same thread) is gonna take some time.

But they should say that it doesn't matter what link you use you must have TER banner on your site or you can't post ads. That is more in line with what they want, if that is what was wrong

It goes to a page which does not exist.  It is an incomplete link.  Check your TER ID within the link.

Board Admin (below) reports that you're doing something wrong with the link. But first, so as not to confuse us, use "Profile" to refer to your Profile page and link, not "review".  Use "review" to refer to a specific review, e.g., ukl8comer's review.

At the bottom of the forum posting form (that I am typing in right now), there are several fields where you type stuff.

subject [Re: Explicit Examples]
message [Board Admin (below) reports that ... ]
link URL [   ]
link title [    ]
picture URL [    ]

Tell is, in a message (maybe reply to this post), EXACTLY what you put where, ESPECIALLY in these boxes at the bottom of the form:
link URL [   ]
link title [   ]
picture URL [   ]

If you left a field blank blank, tell us explicitly:
picture URL [    ] I left this blank, except for the "http://" that was already there
