Hi Nikki,

I cant help with answers to all of your post, but I would like to share what I can help with:  reviews. I have reviews from people I've met outside of TER. Most of those clients, had a previous TER account that expired and all they had to do was pay 25 dollars and reactivate it. But I always asked. If you've had a great experience with a client, it wouldn't hurt to just ask them if they would be so kind to write a review to get you started on TER. Some may say no since they dont have account, but others would be happy to reactivate their account or sign up just for you. Hope I helped!

Hello! I've been a provider for a couple months now. However, it's been fairly slow. I was sure it would pick up by now but it hasn't. I wanted to know if there is anything I might be doing wrong? Whether it be my rates, my website, or whatever it is- any information would help. Or is it just the fact that I have no reviews yet? None of my clients have been from TER. I was with an agency before I went independent in November. Is it just slow the first couple of months? Or is it the no reviews that's the problem? Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thank you

Please feel free to respond to my post with a link to your website and or internet ad/s and I am sure we here in the peanut gallery would be more than happy to give you a critique and some helpful advice.

Just for the record, it is considered an "ad post" to link your website or ads to any post that starts a thread, but perfectly acceptable to do so when posting a response to another post.

Welcome to our little corner of the internet and I am sure we will do our best to point you in the right direction.

Some say the period before the holidays is bad, but others say it's gangbusters.

You need to get your name and more importantly, your looks out there on the local and advertizing boards to get some traction here on TER.

Read up in the Self Help Manual and Board Policies (Linked to this page, look for the red and white life preserver.) and become very familiar with the rules, then use the boards to market the heck out of yourself.  Don't forget the photo board too.

You might want to check if your rates are competitive with gals in your area whom you consider to be on a par with you, all things considered, and maybe lower them or offer a special.

When you do meet a client, ask them to write a review.  Don't be shy about asking.  If they are not a TER member, encourage them to join.  That's how I joined.

I wish you success.  By the way, when you respond on here, give a link to your website (Be sure the TER logo is added to it first if you don't have that done already.), and I and others will critique it for you.

Best wishes and welcome to TER

Thank you so much! I have been advertising on sites such as Eros, Slixa, even TER. I had a few clients join but since they were new, their reviews got declined. Thanks again! :)

If they are new to TER and their reviews got declined, all is not lost. It depends on which kind of declined.

- The review might have been totally rejected for some major problem.
- The review might have been rejected for a minor reason that they can fix by editing and re-submitting. (E.g., a rating that exceeding the service level; forgetting to include a URL [required]; not having enough detail in the details; etc.)
- The review might have been APPROVED based on its content but delayed from posting or put in PENDING mode until the new reviewer has more credibility (cred).

If an experienced reviewer reviews you and the new reviewer's review jives with that, he gains cred from the experienced reviewer and his review of you will be released.

If the new reviewer submits additional reviews of other well established providers with many reviews, he gains cred from reviewing them and his review of you should be released soon after.

Final comment for now: the link provided does not work! Down for Maintenance or 404 Error ... I forget. That can't help!

Good luck

Overall it looks good and is professional, but white type on black background is somewhat of a strain.  White against black is better.

Your one hour rate is a bit high, but the multi-hour rates are reasonable.

Photos are very nice.

You say you are in Brentwood, but where is that?  Give the state, or a major city nearby.  Remember, the internet goes everywhere.

You have a very extensive appointment form, even asking occupation.  This is a turn off for many hobbyists.  Of course, your personal safety is paramount, and this is the only way you feel safe, then fine; but do understand it can limit your business

If her pics are accurate and she is at least somewhat of a good provider, her rate is very reasonable and that is not the cause of her slow start.

It is due to no reviews and a lack of fully taking advantage of all the advertising avenues presented here and elsewhere

.....and yes your rates are a bit high for an as-yet unreviewed provider.
I also perused thru your FAQ section (thank you for having one, BTW!) but could not find the information that I needed in order to book with you, so I moved on.

You might have me mistaken with someone else! I have a contact section on my website! It's linked just in case you are talking about me and you just couldn't find it!

Yes I know that there was a contact option on your site, but I was hoping to find my answer in your FAQ section so that I didn't have to do an email exchange, or have to fill out an entire form just to ask a question. Not your fault, of course - you are not a mind reader and can't possibly supply every possible question that a hobbyist might have on your site. But as someone who has to email providers often to ask a question about clientele I do get tired of it and nowadays tend to blow past any provider who doesn't already address it on her site.

Btw - My question concerned if you see women clients (those readers who "know" me on the boards here would have probably figured that out! ;)

Again, Nikki....not your fault. But I wanted to let you know why I didn't inquire further with you

Oh, I misunderstood! I apologize. I understand. To answer your question, I haven't yet but I am planning on doing so in the future. I'm trying to get a bit more experience before I do! I'll make sure to add that question to the list. Thanks for clarifying! :)

can write a review, post on boards, but just can't see "juicy details" in reviews nor send/receive PM's. Later on, if he wants he can pay for VIP which is highly recommended to use this site to its fullest.

Thank you so much for all your responses! I appreciate it very much!
I'm linking my website! I had no idea it wouldn't link in the original thread- sorry!

Very attractive pics but your website needs some work down the road, but it's fine for a starter.

Yes, your lack of reviews are hurting you as they do all first timers so you need to be patient.

Your outcall rates seem very reasonable to me and you give incentive for longer dates which is something I personally like.

I would have advised you to keep both rates the same to start at the lower end. You can adjust and separate your rates when you get a few reviews. You also charge more for incall than out which is the opposite of what most girls do.

Ask your clients to review you on TER but you should do so professionally.

Pm me if you wish and I can walk you through all of this in more detail but you need to maximizing your advertising to the fullest and you aren't doing that right now.

Hi Jack.

I was reading your reply recently to NikkiNicolette, and I had a very similar question if I may.

Where on the site, would you say most girls seem to get most of their business from, especially out of town business? I get a few calls/texts each week, but they are all local. I'd really love to figure out where to advertise for the out of town businessman type? Mainly because I prefer, longer, multi-hour/overnights.

You wrote her such a thorough response, if time allows, and you have interest to help. your suggestions are so appreciated.

Thank you warmly,
Julia D

Like many have said here before the most important thing at this point is for you to get some reviews. It is entirely appropriate for you to bring it up particularly with someone who has visited with you multiple times or have a connection with. You should do this with tack, with someone who you can discuss this with appropriately.

I like first contact by email. You include your email but it is hard to find. It should be set apart from the text and easy to see.

More importantly, there is verification. It is unclear if you require real name. If you do and that is what you need to feel safe, that is what you should do. But know that many customers, me included, will not see someone who requires my real name. There are many providers who verify through verification services and references so this rule is not a problem for me. Giving a provider with no reviews my real name is way too risky for most of us. I won't even do that for a well know highly reviewed provider.

You don't give your age or location. That would be helpful. I like your rate structure. I enjoy multiple hour dates and you seem to be encouraging them. Your upcharge for incall seems high. You may be focused on outcall so this may not be an issue, but many of us prefer incall and this makes your rate quite high. I don't know what the hotel rates are in your area but in most areas there are hotel bargains to be found and you could absorb some of the cost. Maybe $100 or even try $0 for a while until you are established.

Finally, with tongue in cheek, how about trying blond. I've heard that blond providers make more than brunette. Just an idea.

I hope this helped a little. Good luck
