Hi all, I was wondering if it is a good idea to have a SP come to my house. The cat is away so no concerns of being interrupted. All and any thoughts are welcome.

Don't forget about your nieghbors. If any of them are friends with SO could mean disaster.
I would not advise it if you value your relationship. The average woman is far more observant than the average man. Little things like a whiff of perfume or the corner of a condom wrappper could be the only thing needed to send you to divorce court.
If you don't feel compfortable going to an incall location, then I would suggest springing for a room, the money is well worth the piece of mind.
I don't know if Mr. Info or Gambler have ever had a "house call" or not however they do give excellent advice as to some of the downfalls. I have a significant other luckily I don't value the relationship too much so the risks didn't bother me.
In addition to the things they stated keep in mind the neighbors, everyone has eyes and ears. I opened the garage had her pull in closed the garage before I would let her get out of her car. I explained the routine to her before hand and she was o.k. with it.
As far as the experience goes, I really really really enjoyed it. For me there is nothing like being the king of your domain. It truly enhanced the GFE experience and totally helped take the edge off. The first 5-10 minutes of any incall I spend checking the place out, hanging up my jacket in the closet, going to the bathroom etc. Even though I'm a big mouth on the boards about not worrying about LE and such I've seen a lot of strange things in life and it takes me a few minutes to settle in somewhere new.
So like I said there are plenty of risks and downshides to it, but I prefer it above all else.

One thing to think about, what if the SP is busted and your name and address are in her "little black book"?
