Gotta agree here...
Many of the larger agency websites I search
through and look at the providers often state
that if you have any feedback,suggestions, or questions please email us and we will respond in
a short period of time. However, more times than naught I get no response at all from them and often wonder if anyone ever really does read their email. Sometimes I have a legitimate question and do not make any unprofessional remarks but they never respond. I would think not
answering would lead to loss income but I have found a large majority of independents will answer in only a matter of hours/minutes. Do most
agencies really read/respond to email or only
answer their phones?
I think it varies just about as much as dealing with Indys. There are very good agencies and poor ones. There are some agencies I know of who correspond only by e-mail and never answer the phone until time for the appt.
a lot depends upon their outlook on customer service. I have also noticed that during periods of large influx of people to a city, such as Chicago and a convention, agency response is slowed down, probably from demand more than lack of willingness to help you out.
