fourth reason

I had read several reviews on a provider on TER. I saw that she was back in town and thought I'd reread the reviews before I called her. Now I find her reviews have disappeared. BTW, she had good reviews, so why would they disappear?

1.  The provider requests that they be taken down because she is retiring or because of some security issue.

2.  TER takes them down in response to a provider constantly complaining about inaccurate or poor reviews.

3.  TER takes them down because a provider was caught cheating, usually self posting a review or using a shill.

Provider has been delisted from TER.

Delisting is the byproduct of the three reasons that Mr. Fisher mentioned. A provider can either ask to be delisted or she will be delisted by TER for the reasons previously mentioned

The rules are the same for both the guys and the gals, anyone who persistently abuses the discussion boards (always creates trouble, makes groundless accusations, etc.) can be banned by TER (the moderators have no say in this).  If a provider is banned, she is also delisted.

One would think that it would be a good enough reason to be civil at all times...though sadly it's not always the case.

We don't always stay civil here, and this is the politest board on TER.
