Delisted Providers

When a provider is delisted, her TER profile is removed from the database.  This may occur at the provider's request (for a variety of legitimate legal or personal reasons, including retirement), or when a provider is banned for fraud, posting fake or self-reviews, or other rules violations.

When a provider has been delisted, her profile cannot be viewed, and states "That provider information is no longer available."  To protect their privacy, specific reasons for why a provider was delisted are not disclosed to the general public or TER members.

Delisted providers are not allowed to post anywhere on TER, nor is discussion of delisted providers allowed on TER discussion boards. New reviews of delisted providers are not approved.

Providers who were delisted at their request (and not for fraud or other violations) may request to be relisted on TER.  Providers should email Staff at [email protected] with their request.

I am a big ter fan and have sixty reviews posted.  For the first time, one was rejected for the reason "delisted provider."  I can't find any other reviews for this provider under another name.  Can anyone give me some information about other reasons why a provider would be delisted.

reasons... unfortunately, there are plenty of buttholes out there on the client side of the business... some providers request being delisted temporarily for security reasons.

Delisting may occur at the provider's request, for a variety of legitimate legal or personal reasons.

Child custody battles, pending legal action, stalker avoidance, retirement, having been recently outed, going completely UTR because their dance card is full or they found a sugar daddy -- there are literally dozens of good reasons that providers request to be delisted.

A few (not many) have requested to be delisted because they have crappy reviews and don't want the bad press.  Another small percentage have been banned for improper behavior or flagrant posting violations.  However, most providers are delisted for review or user account fraud (or both).

Providers who have a no-review policy are automatically delisted.
