Not really a newbie, but new to NYC and used to go through a single service I knew well in the past.

My question is whether or not the adds you see on Craigslist are BS, traps, or valid. I -know- some will be scams, so its more whether or not they're mostly scams or mostly ok.

I may be looking for gfe/fs session in the near future, and if so I won't really feel like jumping through a bunch of flaming hoops.

I agree... CL is full of scammers and weirdos... I think that a provider's donation is a reflection of not just her quality and self-worth, but also a reflection of her services.  Use the reviews here.   CL attracts the bottomfeeders.  Simply put, you get what you 'donate' for...

not only are a lot of the ads fake, too many LE busts made from the ads on CL.  Highly recommend just stay with TER reviews to cross check your choices.

While it is a quagmire, CL is not a complete waste of time.  There are some very well reviewed providers who use CL as a means of advertising. The problem is learning how to wade through the BS to find the real thing...

You do have to wade thru the ads, like walking a minefield. I have noticed lately tho, alot of traveling ladies who post on the TER regional board and Eros at one price, will use CL to post a special for that night if they need to book more appts.

Thanks for the info. So far I've gotten a lot of full mail boxes and some dead numbers. Any suggestions on how to wade more effectively?

Part of the (false) attraction to CL is that it seems easier for an impulse buy than most of the providers, but again, thats based on exactly no data. Thoughts?

will not post every fifteen minutes, this is a cheap trick to keep your name at the top of the list. Smarter girls now that a discriminating customer will scroll through the ads not just call the first girl listed.  Also, any decent independent lady will email you a link to her website upon request. I have found at least a half dozen very good ladies this way including one of my ATF's.

Actually I agree, CL is easier for an impulse buy but most of the time you are going to regret the impulse. The key is not to stop thinking with the big head just because it's late and you are horny. I plan my appointments and fortunately the ladies I like to see are available when it is convenient for me.  I was perusing CL just the other night as my favs are both taking some time off right now. I found one great sounding lady. Great reviews but but she does not book same day appointments. The next three calls I made never got returned...I downloaded some good porn and took care of things myself...To me, that's a more sensible option than throwing money away on a CL "maybe".

I have only tried Craig's List once, and I was lucky that it ended up a very good experience. However, the uneasiness leading up to the initial meeting (i.e. was this a LE trap, etc.) was not worth it. Since then I have only seen well reviewed independent providers.

It just adds to the excitement.

You're all right...Craig's List is truly a gamble. Some of those ads are so fake, it's obvious. I am steering clear of Craig's List as well. I always feared that the client I was talking to was LE.

I learned the hard way never to trust CL. After my last experience, I'll stick to TER.

My friend once told me that CL is a wasteland, full of weirdos and crazies. I am so believing that right now. Some of the responses I've gotten scream, "LE, LE." (law enforcement).


Again, I will stick with TER (and hopefully get a review, which hasn't happened yet).
