It would save Newbies a lot of searching if this link were placed every time a new page was formed. It would save a lot of space and time searching

But FOB isn't on the list.

At least now I don't feel so dumb.  I remain as ignorant as I was before, but at least I don't feel so embarassed about it.  :)

means "Fresh off the boat", it normally refers to Asians who are new arrivals to the US.

it is used in a recent post on the tj board in response to a guy asking about a MP there called Mermaids, in this sentence,

"Yes, but the talent in small places changes very quickly.  To me, GFEs and FOBs (which I look for) are more easily found in small bars than AB, CC, and MPs."

So it can't be a ROB cuz he says he looks for it.  This is from the tj Board so maybe it's some lingo for us gringos in Mexico.

I did a search on the General Discussion Board and never saw a reference for the past year.  I did a search on the LA Board and saw a few, but no context that suggested a meaning.  Search on the tj Board didn't help either.  NetMichelle used it once on the LA Board - but, hell, maybe she was drunk at the time.  :)

So, if you guys don't know either, I'm gonna PM NetMichelle and Burt and see if they used it by accident or if there is some meaning that's a little less common.  I'll post here when I find out....

Found it in a post on the tj Board from two years ago by a guy named juanstijuana.  Actually,he used to post there quite often and I vaguely recall he had some issue with ter cuz he has his own site that is a paysite about Mexican providers.  Anyway, I have never seen this term anywhere else but the tj Board, but if NetMichelle uses it (she did in one post on the LA Board) then it must not be strictly limited to Mexican providers.  Maybe it's any girl who's new to a place and a bit naive about it.  Kind of like a newbie provider.  FOB, Fresh Off the Bus!

Note for newbies: it's amazing what you can learn here if you just do a search on the discussion boards.

Could be a mis-print for ROB, but can also mean Fresh off the Boat, often intended for recent Asian arrivals.
