Call System

the standard call system, how does this work, they want work number, but what if you dont work in the office but work for the company.  do they just call to see if you work there.  what if you dont have a job.  if someone can explain the do's and donts about the call system that would be great.  thanks

In order to see a provider you will need to be verified.  If the provider is independent she may do her own verifications by asking for a work number so she can verify your place of employment.  She will also ask for a contact number so she can call you with details of the appointment once you are verified.  If you don't actually work in the office, it is a good idea to explain that in your initial contact and give her some clue as to how she might be able to use the work number to verify you.  If you don't have a job, she's going to want references from other known providers.  She may also accept or even prefer verification through services like Room Service 2000 or DateCheck.  Agencies tend to have the same kind of verification procedures.

Once you have been verified, you will typically get one phone call the same day as the appointment to confirm and give you the location for an incall or ask the location for an outcall.  Once you have arrived at that location you will make/receive a second call to get the specific room/apt number.  There are several safety reasons for this and you should be glad, because it protects you as much as it does her.
