Having an escort come to your room in vegas?  Totally legal?  I'm assuming if there is zero "sex for money" talk all is fine.  As long as it's topless dancing, fashion show, whatever, that is all okay?

First off, don't kid yourself.  There are many more ways to get it wrong in Vegas than right.
The billboards, the cards the friendly gentlemen hand out on the strip, yellow pages ads will ALL likely yield a disapointing evening at best.  The girls in the bar can go either way...

Having an escort come to your room for sex is illegal whether you talk about it or not.  Contact a well reviewed lady you find here (in advance), make all the arrangements before you leave home, and there will be no need whatsoever for "sex for money" talk.  It will all just... happen.

No...really... assuming no sex is involved and there is no sex for money talk.    Is that legal?  Is it legal for the escorts to come to your room just for company?  I'm not ready to do the sex thing and have the STD worries.

and be sure to find some ladies you like BEFORE going there.

never assume anything is legal... always assume it is against the law and go from there... things change and even Vegas us subject to new rules and regs...

Are topless dances legal if no touching is involved?

I think I read on the legal board below, that a judge once ruled that nude dancing is legal, and that an audience can consist of one person.

Of course, there are other factors to consider:

Local ordinances and zoning, whether a hotel room is legit for such an activity, etc.

Then, even if the activity may eventually be ruled legal by the Supreme Court, what good is that to you if you're being finger printed at the local lockup?  Better to follow the advice given by others here.

Still, it may be interesting to see what the lawyers on the legal board have to say.

Try posting the same question down there.

(Still not a lawyer.)

If you're interested in a positive experience, you're best bet is to search the reviews for someone that matches your taste.  Any of the ladies will agree to DO less, although they most likely won't charge less (after all, you're paying for their time).  While it's TECHNICALLY not illegal for them to come to your room, you should have the same level of concern as if it was.  Do your homework, and have the correct woman show up.  That's the best odds you'll get in our fair city.

Well, if you want to be absolutely legal, read the Las Vegas Municipal Code on escorts. It's Chapter 6.36 under Title 6. An escort is any person who, for a salary, fee, commission, hire, or profit, makes himself or herself available to the public for the purpose of accompanying other persons for social engagements. Escorts are licensed by the city, and supposedly, there is a contract for the patron that specifically defines price, services, time, etc. The chapter on outcall entertainment referral services is probably also relevant to what you want.
