Do Hobbyist feel that Agencies are a disaster in waiting because LE will go after or disclose info on the Hobbyist. Its media attention for LE with a an agency bust.
For independent ladies, if they are busted then there are a low change that the media or LE will disclose the Hobbyist info. Thus safer.
Is this a correct assumption
Though the risks are still fairly small, it seems that LE and the media like to jump on agencies because they seem so much more pernicious.
They won't get the same sympathy from the public if they just gang up on one independent, and besides, they get more bang for the proverbial buck when they bring down an agency.
Ditto, there is one significant diffrence between agencies and indys. You must catch a indy in the act of soliciting sex, hence all the stings, etc. However, agencies can be charged with pandering or the act of recruiting for prostitution, to include the advertising of such. That law was tailor made for agencies and ALL are criminal felonies. Also, the mere idea of girls working for you suggests some form of exploitation, which will always convey sympathtic juries. Case in point, the DC madam case, they paraded former employess to give their sad stories of how facing financial ruin, they turned to Prostitution...She was convicted right then and there
