I am just wondering about this, both for hobbyists and providers.

How long do you have to be active to be considered not newbie anymore?

Couple months or a year?  :)

Some people learn faster than others.  Some people know what they are doing a month in.  Some people can be doing this for years and still make rookie mistakes.

Also, some people do this once a week.  Others twice a year.

I guess the best answers is when you can answer most of the questions that come up on the newbie board.

And I've been on TER since 2013. I've only been posting since last year though. I feel like 10 reviews is a nice even number to exit newbie status
