Any suggestions for nice Boutique or Upscale Hotels in the Manhattan area? I really hate being tricked online. Stayed at what I thought was an upscale hotel across from Madison Square Garden while walking in Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week and got TRICKED Badly. The upscale hotel lobby was Gorgeous, but the rooms were so dated. So would be nice to hear from Providers already in the area.

In General, do not name Names in public

Newbies wanting to help here should not name specific hotels or details. Stick to PMs to send specific info.

"Hotel XYZ is really nice and the staff is nice to hookers. Ask for Fred at check-in." is not for public posting!
"There are several nice hotels just south of 59th St. that might be what you are looking for." is more vague and more acceptable for posting (but not specific enough for the OP or for LE).
