These fake reviews for AMP's are proliferating like rabbits. Fake reviewers include ludenmountain, PaoliTurn, Chrismardana, and gamblingfool to just name a few, and the "reviewees" are Candy, Kathy, Summer and Diana, again to name just a few. For the most part they all sound the same, and they are becoming quite annoying. So when you're reading a review of an AMP girl (if indeed you're bothering to do this anymore), take it with a ton of salt.
Although I'm sure there are some great AMPs out there (and I would LOVE a filipina), I must unfortunately assume that they are all corrupt. With so many legit places, why take the risk with an AMP?
It's too bad a bad few spoil it for all asians: agency, AMP or independent.
While I will agree that many of the reviews for certain AMPs are questionable, there usually are at least one (or a few) reviews that are legit. (For example, check my recent review of Julie.) Also, not all of the AMPs seem to be engaging in these tactics.
I would suggest cross-checking a questionable reviewer's other reviews. If there are none, or if they are all of the same AMP, or are all incredibly favorable, I would start to suspect a shill. If however, a reviewer has a fair number of reviews of a variety of girls (AMP and otherwise), and gives out a believable distribution of ratings, I would be more inclined to trust that person's reviews of an AMP provider.
As with all things (even on TER), the more investigation and research one does, the less likely unpleasant surprises become.
Finally, as an appeal to my fellow hobbyists, the best way to combat the shill reviewers is to post our own honest reviews. (The more of us there are, the less effective they can be...)
there seems to be too many bait and switches. if one of the more legit agencies were smart, they would try to run a splinter agency with asian providers. they could get real pictures up and organize things better. just a thought.
Chaos17, your review was totally legit, and obviously so. Unfortunately, there aren't nearly enough honest reviews when it comes to AMP's in New York. Indeed, contrast your review with those of gamblingfool and Chrismardana - the difference is very noticeable. BTW, I did cross-check these reviews before I put up the original post, which simply confirmed my gut instinct on this subject. Sure, not all the AMP reviews are fake, but way too many of them are, and the net result is that you tend to glaze over all of them. As it turns out, I happened to read your review of Julie when it was posted only because I saw the 6 for performance, and assumed (righfully so, it appears), that it was real. In all probability, so are the reviews of edjs and HvK. But too many of Julie's (to use her as an example) reviews are likely fake, and rather than trying to separate fact from fiction, it's simply easier to just go on and check the reviews of the next provider.
I totally agree with you. I went to one of these places. The number is (212) 725-5218. The experience was standard Asian incall, no kissing, CBJ, uninspired sex, 1 cup and out. It's a shame because I, like many TER members have a special thing for Asian providers. It seems the best option for Asian girls are the independents: Asia and Lucy Lip to just name a couple. I have yet to have a bad Asian independent experience.
You can every once in a blue moon find a nice agency Asian girl, but it's so hit or miss.
